  • "The cottage was lovely with a beautiful garden to sit and have meals and morning coffee."

It is very well equipped for cooking meals with all necessary pots pans etc. Beds were comfortable and all decor well maintained. Lovely powerful shower to wake you in the morning. So close to ferry and buses almost outside front door to take u over the island. My sister and I very much enjoyed our stay and would most definitely book again if we wanted a return visit. A lovely touch leaving us milk in the fridge and homemade shortbread, thank you!!

Thank you for your feedback and lovely comments. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

  • "A really lovely place to stay, beautifully kept, spotlessly clean & comfortable, well equipped."

Peaceful sheltered garden & suntrap patio. Perfect situation, easy access to town & shops, on a main bus route. Parking can be a bit awkward, but we coped alright & the owner was most helpful. She kindly checked we had found all was okay on arrival & quickly returned my husbands sun glasses we'd left behind....and left muffins for us!

Thank you for your kind review. Glad you enjoyed your holiday. Property Owner

  • "We have just had a very enjoyable 4 nights stay at Seagulls Perch."

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and an ideal base for a holiday with no car. The house is very conveniently located for the ferry terminal and is also served by an excellent bus service. We went to the islands main attractions using a 48 hour Rover and Breezer mobile ticket. Cowes town centre was a 10 minute walk with very convenient shops and a good variety of pubs and restaurants. This was our first time visiting the Isle of Wight, it certainly won’t be the last.

  • "This property is like a home from home."

Everything you need clean comfortable. For older people the stairs are a bit steep but manageable and parking is a bit hit and miss no the owners fault. A lovely stay hopefully will be back.

Thank you for your comment. Glad that you enjoyed your stay. I'm sorry that you found the stairs a bit steep we hope that the handrail helped. Yes it is free on street parking open to anyone, we try and help as much as we can. We will hopefully see you again sometime. Property Owner

  • "Lovely little house, very bright and clean."

Very comfortable and a nice welcome from the owner, who was flexible about arrival times. Also very good communication. The only downside was that it was very difficult to park near the house.

Exceptionally clean and really cosy. The owner has thought about the personal touches to make it a home from home. It was a fantastic base to explore the whole island and only a 5 minute walk into Cowes for great restaurants and shops. As a family we would recommend.
