"The Penthouse waa even better than the photos."
Very spacious, comfortable beds, kitchen well stocked with cutlery, plenty of space in fridge and freezer etc. Very clean, well looked after. Great views, spa an extra bonus, it was used 2 or 3 times a day, the grandchildren loved it. Richard the owner was contactable if you needed him. I would certainly recommend the accommodation to friends.

"The Penthouse in Milford on Sea was wonderful."
The host, Richard was clear and concise with communication, just a shame that we didn't get to meet him due to other commitments.
I would certainly recommend the Penthouse to anyone considering a luxury break by the sea. The property is large and minimally decorated with a fabulous collection of original art, which is also for sale. It was great that the facilities like the appliances, sanitary ware, swim-spa and furniture were of high quality. Even the pocket doors to bathrooms are soft closing. It's those extras that stopped me missing my own home, other than my waste disposal, but you can't have everything replicated.
The only problem encountered was with the booking process. I found this property with Vrbo, from a search of the south of Hampshire. All booked online, only then to have received an email from Sykes Cottages, another intermediary, who "took over" this booking, but added another £176 to the cost. Rather that contact Sykes, with whom I hadn't made a contract directly, I went back to Vrbo to get it resolved. Following many conversations; waits; passing off to supervisors; speaking English to an advisor etc, I eventually received a credit that I had to apply for via some new to me process.
I'm therefore never going to use Vrbo, nor Sykes again, being that once a deposit is paid, they can novate your booking and mess you about in their faceless process.
Above The Lighthouse, book directly with the host.

"An amazing stay in an Amazing place!"
We loved everything about this apartment, especially the extensive views towards Hurst Castle, the Isle of Wight, Keyhaven saltmarshes and across to Harry Rocks. Milford on Sea is a quiet stretch of the South Coast but within reach of the New Forest and the more sandy beaches to the West. There were lots of luxury touches, including some very funky lighting and it was the perfect place to celebrate. We hope to be back soon.

"We had another welcoming and very comfortable stay at the Penthouse."
All the family enjoyed the spa and the delightful views out to The Needles and across the beautiful marshes.
We were able to explore more walking trails this time and discovered the walk from the Penthouse across the marshes to the outskirts of Lymington, then back along the sea wall. This was a stunning walk in the sunshine.
Richard was very helpful and there if required.
Thanks again. We really hope to return.

"A Truly Exceptional Stay
From the moment we received the warm welcome call the day before our arrival to the heartfelt goodbye as we packed up to leave, the experience was nothing short of outstanding."
The owner went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay.
The accommodation itself was exceptional—luxurious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The beds were incredibly cozy, and the bathrooms offered both powerful showers and a deep bath for ultimate relaxation. The jacuzzi was a delightful touch, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
We loved spending time in the light-filled lounge, which offered stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and having TVs in every room added a nice convenience. The property was wonderfully quiet and private, allowing us to truly disconnect and recharge.
Overall, this was one of the best places we've ever stayed. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, tranquility, and top-notch hospitality.

"We had a thoroughly enjoyable ‘break away’ at the Penthouse."
The apartment is very spacious with a large living room and three good sized bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped and everything seems to be more or less brand new. The dining area is more than big enough for our family of 5. There are a number of luxury touches as well not least of which is the large jacuzzi which our children referred to as a ‘swimming pool’. Perhaps the biggest draw of this apartment is the balcony area which provides more or less 360 degree views of the sea and countryside with the Isle of Wight in clear view and the Needles Lighthouse flashing away at night. It’s a short walk to historic Hurst Castle and the village with pubs, restaurants and supermarket is a 10 min walk away. A short drive also to a number of beaches and interesting villages to explore. It’s a little bit of luxury on the coast and worth worth a visit!
