We have had a lovely week the bungalow is equipped with everything you need and the owners on the farm are really welcoming would definitely book again.

In the countryside so very peaceful and quiet but situated perfectly to visit all surrounding areas with a short drive The owners were very friendly and helpful and we would like to visit again in the future

Immaculate and cosy lovely hosts and the only thing that would do differently is check the water flow and drainage of the shower.

We absolutely loved our stay here it was the perfect spot to visit all our old friends.

The accommodation was perfect for us and our 2 young children. Big spacious rooms and a lovely big garden to enjoy. The WiFi had just been put in and was really quick which was an added bonus. We were able to have people to visit in the evenings and there was plenty of space and parking. Really private, our hosts were incredibly helpful but never encroached. Would definitely stay again

This was our third stay and as always was warm, clean and comfortable.

There is a new tv but unfortunately we couldn't use it's potential because of no wifi. This would be a great addition

We enjoyed our second stay at Meadow Lea, it was again very comfortable, clean and well equipt.

There was a nice welcome pack which was much appreciated. The area around Leominster has a lot to offer for visitors. We will certainly be returning to Meadow Lea in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Meadow Lea.

Lovely greeting by the very friendly owner and the welcome gifts of Milk in the fridge and biscuits were gratefully received. Lovely views from the property and everything we needed was provided. Very cosy sitting room and lovely comfortable bedrooms. We enjoyed some lovely days out in Ludlow, Hereford, Berrington Hall & Hampton Castle Gardens and visited some fine pubs and restaurants in the local area. We would most definitely stay here again.

the cottage was really clean with everything you could need the owner was very friendly and helpful with local knowledge we could not fault the cottage in any way it is in a quiet peaceful setting we will return next year

What a wonderful lovely bungalow on a wonderful farm

Comfy, conventional, spacious, well equipped bungalow set on mixed arable/beef farm.

Ample easy car parking. Beautiful views. Set a little back from a B road which we could hardly hear. Outside table and chairs would have added to our enjoyment as we enjoyed lovely weather

This is a very well equipped spacious and very clean bungalow.

The kitchen provides all that you need. There is no wifi. The location is quiet near a minor road. A good addition would be a garden seat.

We had a lovely stay at meadow Lea cottage.

The cottage was very clean, warm and cosy, with great views from the dining/sitting rooms. There is no WiFi, but the 4g signal was OK for us. It is within easy reach of several national trust places, and short drives to Ludlow and Leominster both delightful towns. The cottage has all you need for your stay, and is very quiet for a relaxing break. The owners were welcoming and friendly on our arrival. We would fully recommend this cottage.

A spacious bungalow on a working farm, very quiet location.

Well equipped with a few minor exceptions - no hairdryer for example. The owner kindly lent us theirs.

House was very clean and warm. We had a lovely restful, relaxing stay. We will definitely be back next year.

We found the accommodation very well equipped and comfortable.

Everything that you could possibly want was supplied. The cows in the fields were very friendly and the views were wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Hertfordshire.

The cottage was lovely and clean and we were there for two weeks and the cottage was cleaned in the middle weekend. I would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants a good holiday. A very definitely 5 star.

The hosts are very nice people.

The property is very spacious and cool ( we stayed during the first hot month of June '23) Parking is also very good and the location was perfect for our requirements. The road is busy at times, but the property is set well back and the noise was very acceptable. There is a railway line around 3/4 mile away (not at all intrusive) which I found great as I am a railway enthusiast. There is a large kitchen with very good facilities, the bathroom only had a (large ) shower (I always prefer a shower) so some may feel restricted. The Water is soft water (certainly softer than Cambridgeshire), and a pleasure to wash with. A very nice place to stay!!

A lovely place to stay,the views were amazing and having the cows outside the window (the other side of the hedge so don't panic)was incredible.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week. Jan the host very welcoming. The only little problem is the water pressure in the shower is low so definitely not a power shower. We also bought hand soap for the bathroom when there is normally some supplied but having met Jan we really think that was an oversight as the welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits was very plentiful. We will be back again if Jan and the livestock will have us. Thank you it really was very relaxing...

We had a very nice week in this comfortable bungalow, very quiet and peaceful.

The milk and cookies were much appreciated. The only thing missing was hand soap/wash, which we had to buy. Otherwise very good.

Our stay at Meadowlea was just what we needed.

Super quiet amidst beautiful countryside. The bungalow was well equipped and immaculate, lovely big kitchen comfy beds sunny patio out the back too. Having a washing machine so we could take home clean clothes instead of piles of washing was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting a quiet holiday away from the stresses of life.

We had a lovely stay.

The owner was really welcoming and had left a nice welcome pack. The bungalow was peaceful and very comfortable. For a short break we didn't miss having wifi but because our EE smart phone also did not have a signal, we will find out what network does have signal in the area and get a different simm card to run our phones should we book a longer stay. There was a great farm shop just 2 miles away. We enjoyed trips to Leominster and Ludlow, both 6 miles away. The location and setting are first class. We will recommend it to friends and we hope to come back.

Lovely quiet bungalow on the edge of a cattle farm.

Rarely heard the cows. Set back from the road & didn't hear any traffic. The bungalow is lovely with parking spaces & gardens all around it. An idyllic bungalow for a peaceful break and set in a great location for getting out & exploring. The owners are lovely & welcoming as well.

Very pleasant and comfortable stay

We spent a lovely 2 nights at Meadow Lea.

The cottage was perfectly suited for our needs, as I had my 5yr old son and 75yr old friend with me. The property was super clean, very well fitted out and warm upon our arrival - a home away from home. It's location is perfect for exploring a plethora of castles in the area, amongst other touristy outings.

The accomodation was not furnished with plates cutlery etc that was so clearly ‘old’ that you felt like boxing it up and depositing in a skip somewhere!

The sheets and towels were good quality as well and it was lovely not to be able to see through them! This house was clean, well placed for all we wanted to see and we would recommend to anyone wanting a little more for their money than a view! All up, we would recommend and return ourselves when next in England. Well done owners Meadow Lea!!

All rooms generous in size with room for table in the kitchen.

The dining room has a 6'x4' Table with chairs as well as two armchairs. A well looked-after bungalow with good quality fittings and equipment. Marvellous views from the sitting room, dining room and main bedroom. Extremely good value for money. The heating is now all gas so no fuel-oil smell. Difficult to find any faults. Some dusty corners. It would have been usful to have hooks for dressing gown in the bathroom and bedroom.

The bungalow is lovely, comfortable and has stunning views in a very quiet location, this is one of those hidden gems, the owners are lovely and are more than happy to help with anything you need, we can't wait to return

Great location on owners farm . Owners helpful and friendly. Location excellent for Ludlow , Bridgenorth, Kidderminster, Leominster Knighton . Great eating places nearby. Ludlow food centre excellent. Good pub in Yarpole 2 miles away. Many National trust properties nearby. Very peaceful. Lots of outdoor space safe for children Lovely cake when we arrived.

We had a lovely stay in Meadowlea.

The bungalow is comfortable and has everything as advertised. Its in a good location for walks, visits to NT properties and for seeing the interesting local towns. We can wholeheartedly recommend this property for a nice quiet break.

It was a very nice place to stay with friendly people who made us feel very welcome beautiful country views very peaceful we will be coming back again.

Owner left us a welcoming cake and milk for our arrival, she was very pleasant and friendly. Wanted to go back for Christmas but is fully booked, but will return sometime.
