  • "We stayed at Lady of Lourdes last week and absolutely loved our time there."

The property is a beautiful home with lovely bedrooms and extremely comfortable beds, making it a very relaxing stay from start to finish. There is plenty of room throughout the house, with generous space both indoors and outdoors, which made it feel welcoming and never cramped. We particularly appreciated how dog-friendly the property is. The large garden was perfect for our dogs to explore and enjoy safely, which made a big difference for us and added greatly to the overall experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the pool table — it was fantastic and provided hours of entertainment for everyone. It really added to the enjoyment of the property and gave us a great communal space to spend time together. As a small suggestion for the future, a dart board, a TV near the pool table area, and possibly a settee would make the space even more comfortable and enhance the experience further. These are only minor recommendations, as the property itself is already wonderful. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Lady of Lourdes to others looking for a spacious, comfortable, and dog-friendly place to relax.

Thanks for your feedback Gabby, very much appreciated and I'm glad you and your party enjoyed your stay. Regarding your suggestions, I have now put a sofa and also a TV in the kitchen/Diner area as I agree these should enhance future stays and create a new space for people to relax and enjoy their time in my house. Thanks, Paul Property Owner

  • "Not what you’d expect based on the price we paid, main concerns with comfort of beds provided, poor showers and cleanliness of kitchen areas."

House itself was good as it was big enough for a party of 10 and dog friendly.

Thanks for your feedback Carl. I have tried to reach out to you via Sykes to gain some further clarification as to the concerns you had, however there has been no response back. So, to run through each concern, please see below: 1. Comfort of beds - Virtually every bed and mattress in the house were purchased only a few months ago so I am surprised that you did not feel these were all comfortable. I have always tried to ensure that the all beds are comfortable for guests to stay in. 2. Poor showers - I have recently gone to the house to test all of the showers and they all appear to be working absolutely fine, so I'm not sure why you felt these were poor. 3. Cleanliness of Kitchen areas - I use professional cleaners who clean the house in-between guest stays and I always ensure that the whole house has been cleaned to a high standard, so I am surprised that you felt that cleanliness of the kitchen was a concern. If you were able to come back to the message that has been sent to you via Sykes with some further clarifications on your points above, I would be happy to address each of these with you. Hopefully these issue would not put you off booking again in the future. Thanks, Paul Property Owner

The pool table near the kitchen provided fantastic entertainment and was enjoyed by everyone. The living room is also very spacious, making it perfect for large groups to play games and spend time together. Additionally, the owner was very responsive and supportive whenever we needed assistance. Overall, a wonderful place for a group stay.
