"Fantastic views of the sea and trees from the living room and balcony."
Lovely dark skies and very peaceful and quite. However, property very tired and in need of up dating and could have been difficult if the other property was occupied as they have to walk pass the bedroom windows to get to there front door. Noticed that properties and land up for sale in one of the magazines in the rack hence, maybe, keeping spending to a minimum.

"Lovely property in an beautiful setting, bungalow a little tired and could do with a deep clean."
But overall a lovely stay in a lovely area.

"Lovely quiet location."
Light and airy lounge with view of the sea. Property basically clean. Pillows and mattresses could do with updating. Bedroom/bathroom area wasn’t ventilated enough. Outside decking a wonderful place to sit in the evening.

"Some updating would be useful but overall a "slice of paradise"."

"Almost don't want to leave this review as we would like to stay here again and such an excellent property is bound to be in high demand."
Property is very well furnished with everything you need for a comfortable holiday. The view from the balcony is to die for and the setting is so peaceful. Beds re super comfortable too and we slept really soundly in our time here. Loved the area glad to be away from the crowds in other areas of the island. Very happy we booked this property

"We really enjoyed our stay at Swallows."
The bungalow was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a superb view to the sea. Ideally placed to explore the Island and then return to chill and relax. Excellent.
-
"Beautiful location."
Perfect for our family with young twelve month old twins. Really kind and helpful hosts.
-
"Everything at the Swallows was cosy, comfortable and the perfect hub to explore the island or just enjoy the magnificent views and stroll to the nearby beach."
Thank you for a superb stay!

"Directions from Ventnor might have helped, as might a warning about the difficulty of the recommended route."
Something to hold on to while getting out of the shower would have been useful for an elderly couple. The instructions for the microwave are for a dfferent make and model.

"The property is lovely in an amazing location."
It’s well equipped with everything you need. The environment is so relaxing with stunning view of the countryside and the sea. The only thing I can suggest it would be providing a mattress for the travel cot as it’s too hard to sleep on it the way it is, apart from this everything was great and I highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely come back.

"Robert greeted us and was very hospitable."
Had loads of space inside and out. He even let me have a ride on his little tractor that cuts the grass. Something I've always wanted to do. I can tick that from my bucket list. Met his sister who was also very nice, who found time to interrupt her work and speak to us. The children throughly enjoyed themselves in the large spaces. Would definitely recommend them
-
"Really pleasant location."
The ensuite shower has a large step up into the cubicle and no hand hold inside so not suitable for anyone with mobility problems; it did work perfectly well for the rest of us. The shared bathroom has only a bath, no shower, the push-on shower attachment for the taps leaked at the handle. Living room furniture covers could be refreshed. We really enjoyed being close to the coast path and Ventnor Botanic Gardens.

"Amazing sea views from the living room and private except for one other cottage."
-
"Directions to the address is not clear, we're a bit lost roaming around the area before we found it."
The cottage was exactly the same on the listing, however dust and some cobwebs are very obvious if you look at the ceiling. The pressure of water from the shower is not strong enough to have a good shower. The boiler in the house is too noisy every after few hours where we didn't have a good sleep. But overall we enjoyed our stay cause of the beautiful scenery where green land and seashore is in front of the cottage.

"View from sofa with French doors open."
Very comfortable and open living space. Well equipped kitchen area. Walking distance from amazing Smoking Lobster restaurant. 5 mins walk to beach, best swam at high tide.
-
"A nice cosy, postcard cottage, a short walk from the sea, with your own parking space."
Two bathrooms were very useful, and it had all the usual facilities. We had a good time here, but there were a few drawbacks, the TV could access only about 6 stations, there was no signal for my Vodafone, we had quite a few encounters with spiders and woodlice in the rooms, and the only bus service within easy walking distance was a No 8 which only went to Blackgang.

"This location was on the Isle of Wight and of course the ferry is an added expense."
Many IOW holiday operators have secured discounts with ferry operators - we found a 10% discount on the Internet. Negotiating a discount for your customers should be possible.

"Wi information inaccurate, 1 letter missing."
Lack of dishwasher there fore v stained mugs. Good location ,fantastic views, v quite.

"The bathroom facilities were not the best."
The shower was either too hot or cold and very small. A welcome pack would have been a nice touch and the external decor is in need of repair/paint. The double bed was very hard and the duvet could have been better.

"Cottage was lovely, very cosy with amazing views of the sea."
Would highly recommend this property. The Island is absolutely beautiful with amazing scenery. Will definitely be going again.

"I would recommend that the owners add a trampoline for children in the big ..."
I would recommend that the owners add a trampoline for children in the big beautiful garden if possible to entertain the children as the slop down the hill to the beach was a bit tricky following 2 days of rain so we were unable to enjoy the beach as such and a trampoline would have kept the children occupied and happy

Bank End Farm Bungalows
Ventnor 2.3 miles. Two spectacularly positioned semi-detached coastal bungalows, both with breathtaking far-reaching coastal views across the English Channel, and set within the grounds of Bank End Farm, Ventnor on the Isle of Wight. With direct access through the farm onto the coastal footpath, you are only a short walk away from small coves and secluded beaches on the south coast of the island. Love and care has been put into these bungalows, with exposed beams throughout, together with numerous patio doors and windows allowing both the light and those stunning farmland and coastal views to spill in, creating a wonderfully peaceful and welcoming family environment. Both have been furnished to a comfortable standard, with Freeview TV, DVD players, books, games, DVDs and washing machines. Each bungalow has its own private decked balcony with table, chairs and barbecue, all positioned perfectly to fully appreciate the farmland and sea views. Both have shared use of the large gravelled and lawned rear garden area, with bench tables and climbing frame. There is plenty of off road parking, with two spaces each just outside of the bungalows. Directly from each of the bungalows, follow the buoys across the bridge and through the farmland, all the way to the coastal path to some stunning small coves, the most spectacular place for a picnic. The Undercliffe is famous for its Mediterranean climate, therefore enabling a wide variety of plants to grow all around. Just up the road Ventnor Botanic Gardens will be found, with its worldwide temperate and subtropical trees and shrubs. Throughout the year the Gardens hold many events and exhibitions to be enjoyed, as well as having a highly acclaimed café/restaurant. A few minutes’ walk along the coastal path will bring you to one of the islands hidden treasures, Steephill Cove, with its sand and shingle beach, and a row of fishermen’s cottages. Watch the small boats launch, hoping to catch crabs and lobsters for the locals. Some cottages have been converted into wonderful café restaurants, where you can sample their catch directly from the sea. These two bungalows can be booked separately for an individual family, or book both together for one of those memorable large family or friends gatherings.
About the location
VENTNOR
Newport 10 miles; Cowes 15 miles.
The quaint Victorian seaside resort of Ventnor is located at the southern end of the island and accessed via an array of steep winding roads set amidst beautiful scenery. Sheltered by St. Boniface Down, one of the island's highest points and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this charming town has a uniquely mild micro climate enabling tropical and exotic plants to grow throughout the area. The gently sloping sandy and fine shingle beaches and coves provide excellent facilities for watersports and offer a range of stunning coastal paths to explore, while the harbour sells a broad range of fresh fish and locally-caught seafood. Ventnor is one of the Isle of Wight’s most prestigious food destinations with a good variety of high-quality restaurants,
Bistros, pubs and shops along the esplanade and close to the town centre. The Botanical Gardens are within easy reach and well worth a visit, whilst around the island there are great walking and cycling opportunities, medieval castles, historic houses and a variety of gardens and waterfalls, as well as the unspoilt fishing bay. This great holiday destination has plenty to offer all year-round, and it's easy to see why it's known as the prettiest place on the Isle of Wight!
