"Not as in good condition as last time we stayed in Nordene."
. Lack of kitchen utensils e.g 3 teaspoons only, no tray, no bread board no measuring jug, no fruit bowel. When I took cover off duvet at end of stay it was stained. 1 broken slat on blinds, 1 slat missing. On the plus side there was milk left in fridge, tea bags coffee left, nice touch. Beautiful shower with lots of hot water.

"What a lovely Lodge."
Very clean and comfortable.Lovely personal touches from the owners.Follow the postcode given by the lodge not Brigham Holiday Park as it takes you to the other side of the town, nowhere near the Holiday Park Would definitely go back.

"Would have given top marks for comfort if there had been summer-weight bedding available: 13."
5 tog duvet is way too warm! Otherwise, everything was great, thank you. Recommend the Aspava Turkish restaurant in Cockermouth, and Roman museum in Maryport.

"Fantastic accommodation."
We had a lovely relaxing break at Nordene. The site is gorgeous and really peaceful. The standard of cleanliness and comfort was second to none. Would absolutely stay there again.
-
"Lovely well maintained and furnished accommodation."
Excellent shower and very comfy bed. Only negative is having to look for the instructions/WiFi code etc through drawers- normally these are left in sight for guests. However I did book at very short notice so perhaps they didn't have time to leave out. A later check out would be nice (if only by an hour).

"Would have like instructions for microwave as still haven't worked it out."
More info on TV as couldn't find many channels. Overall Would highly recommend the caravan as bed very comfy and facilities brilliant. The owner welcoming touches were the best I have ever had, bottle of wine, milk in the fridge and sweets.

The owners went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice and pleasant stay..Thank you for that. The lodge is in close proximity to Cockermouth and Keswick as well as the coast. We would recommend this lodge and site if you want a peaceful break away from the crowds as the site is a hidden gem.

It was a delight walking into a property that was so warm, bright, warm, welcoming, spotlessly clean and smelled lovely The bottlle of wine and the vase of daffodils were a lovely touch for weary travellers All the little things we self caterers might forget were there too - loo rolls, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs Thank you
