  • "NOT A 4* PROPERTY."

SHOWER SEAL BROWN BRITTLE AND SPLIT AT THE RIGHT HAND CORNER OF THE SLIDING DOOR. ONLY 2 SAUCEPANS FOR COOKING, NOT EVERYONE CAN AFFORD TO EAT OUT!! I WONDER WHEN THE OWNER LAST VIEWED THE PROPERTY.

Thank you for your comments. We are sorry that you feel this way about your stay. We will pass on your comments regarding the shower seal and sauce pans to the relevant teams. The Lakelovers Owner Relations Team Property Owner

  • "Generally OK Not the most comfortable ."

Was clean enough but round the shower cubicle cubicle needs a bit of work as it is going moldy round the edges also the skirting boards need some attention. Didn't think it was worthy of the high price we paid.

  • "The property was lovely and clean , the only downfall was the upstairs neighbours , we could hear them walking about and talking ."

The location was great , just a few minutes walk from the centre, there is plenty of bars and restaurants near the property.

  • "Perfect central apartment."

Just a few minutes walk into the centre of Keswick. Apartment was well equipped, warm and cosy. Shower was best we have come across. Slight noise from upstairs but not as bad as we were expecting. Free car parking space was a bonus. It meant we could explore the area without having to use the car. Would love to stay again if given the opportunity.

  • "Location is amazing and apartment was generally perfect for our wee family."

We had a brilliant week- a great base to explore Keswick and beyond. A few little things need resolved in the apartment- multiple lights out in the kitchen, the light and fan above cooker not working and the clock out of battery. Not big things that impacted our stay at all but stuff that you notice- no spare lights in kitchen cupboard as stated in welcome book either. The bathroom also has some black mould which could do with being removed. Only other comment that can’t necessarily be easily resolved is the lack of soundproofing from the apartment directly above- when the family above us moved around it sounded like they were in our apartment and we could hear their conversations loud and clear! We were out most of the day but it wasn’t ideal later at night (or the morning they got up at 5am!!).

  • "A clean, homely apartment in a great location with good facilicites and equipment, and extra touches like maps, dishwasher tables etc were an added bonus."

Beds very comfortable but both sofas uncomfortable which was a bit disappointing and the only thing that let the apartment down a bit. Would be good to have a shower attachment in the bath especially as there was an outlet for one to be fitted. Would also be good to have blinds or voiles in the living room windows but these are minor personal prefences and overall very happy with our stay.

On occasion we couldn't use our space in car park due to event in the Church which was inconvenient.

Nice clean and tidy apartment fantastically located Would have liked to have had enough coffee for each of us to have a cup a day and there were no dishwasher tablets supplied

Thank you for your kind comments, we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay. As the property is self catering, dishwasher tablets and coffee are not always supplied. We hope to welcome you back. The Lakes Cottage Holidays Owner Relations Team Property Owner
