"We had a lovely stay overall."
The apartment is comfortable, very clean and modern. The location was quite convenient for what we wanted. The view of the river was an extra plus point. Only things that could make it even better are a few small amenities such as kitchen towels, hair dryer, scissors, shower products, extra bin bags etc. Every cottage or apartment I have stayed at around or below this price range has had them and it just adds some convenience. I should also mention that the bed was a little smaller than what we’re used to. Overall, we had a nice comfortable stay and would stay again.

"I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in the Lake District."

"Very nice stay, and very comfortable."
Had everything we needed :)

"Had a lovely week at river view."
Gorgeous location. Our only issue was lack of space in bedroom which made it awkward at night. The photos of the property are accurate so we were aware before we booked. A personal preference for me is kitchen basics such as salt & pepper provided and enough dishwasher tabs for the stay. The welcome pack was nice .Overall enjoyed our stay .

"We enjoyed our stay at River View."
It was clean, cosy and comfortable with all mod cons. I particularly enjoyed opening the window and listening to the river.

"On arrival place clean but several things are wrong."
The cooker needs deep cleaning as alarm went off every time you opened door to put in/ take out food. The bedroom is too small with that type of bed in it not at all convenient to climb over to get out. People above smoked outside and ash came through the boards so not pleasant to sit on balcony. Television was a no go and no help when we contacted the owners. We are walkers so out most of time not to good a place to stay.

"Great property in a great location."
Cozy, comfortable and romantic, as stated in the listing

"The balcony could do with a clean"

"Booked at last minute for a short break."
Apartment was clean and well presented in a location that has easy access by car for visits to Windermere and Coniston as well as being within walking distance of Lakeland car museum and the steam railway/ferry to Bowness and Ambleside if you want to leave your car in its private allocated parking space. Owner was easily contactable and understanding about what I thought was an issue but was in fact entirely my own fault. Everything you need at hand for a pleasant stay. Secure, private property with no rowdiness around, exactly what we prefer.

"River view apartment is a lovely apartment."
It is very clean and has all modern appliances. Is smaller then it looks on the photos. No room to walk around the bed. Which was a bit of an nuisance when going to the toilet through the night.

"The apartment is well appointed and has most of what you would need."
The bed is very comfortable but the base of the bed need not be so large increasing the amount of room around the bed as this is at a premium, the bathroom is very clean and new looking the only thing I would say is there isn’t anywhere to put toiletries while in the shower. Whilst there isn’t a great deal of space in the living area there is room for a larger sofa which would make it more comfortable for two people. As stated in a previous feedback the local pub is closed and I have yet to find the shop which is said close by. Overall I enjoyed my stay at River View but would probably choose somewhere with more in the way of local amenities for my next stay.

We would definitely book again.

"It look a little while to figure out how to use the hob as we have never heard ..."
It look a little while to figure out how to use the hob as we have never heard of this type of hob and it didn't explain in the booklet that the pans had to be on the hob to make it heat up, I had to Google it to find out, but apart from that everything was lovely
