Delightful property in a superb location

We booked this property expecting a relaxing family holiday, but unfortunately our stay was overshadowed by a series of maintenance issues.

We experienced problems with the BBQ, hot water, the electric gate and a wasp nest, and spent far more time than expected reporting faults, troubleshooting problems and coordinating repairs instead of enjoying our holiday. While attempts were made to resolve the individual issues, the repeated troubleshooting and prolonged communication added to the stress of the holiday. What we really needed was prompt action rather than spending our holiday helping to diagnose faults as paying guests. There were also a number of smaller issues which, whilst less significant on their own, reinforced the feeling that the property was not being maintained to the standard we expected. These included very limited outdoor seating on the large balcony (only two chairs for a property sleeping several guests), no sun loungers despite the generous outdoor space, and a lack of good-quality cooking utensils. The property is in a beautiful location and has great potential, but the cumulative effect of the ongoing issues significantly detracted from our holiday. We left feeling disappointed, as the overall experience simply didn't reflect the standard we expected from a premium holiday property. I hope these issues are addressed before future guests arrive.
