• "Beautiful house, both practical and really comfy."

  Has a lot of the things that rental properties often miss (soft/relaxing lighting, well-equipped kitchen etc.) which make it a lovely place to stay. Walkable to Kendal centre and the housekeeping were lovely too. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

• "Good well maintained property."

  Only point is you use rear of house as main enterence. The area needs sorting as is muddy, which is not good for footwear,, house and car. Does have gravel which is virtually non existent.

• "Excellent well kept and presented home."

  Fab kitchen with all you need to prepare good food. Very comfortable lounge with Smart TV, books & games (in the unlikely event of boredom). The accompanying info book is very clear including rated restaurants locally. The parking space will fit one MPC and a small car. We totally recommend this holiday let. We really enjoyed the week. • "Plumbing in on suite not very good toilet bought waste back hours later even after flushing !"

  The shower was a mere trickle and kept going cold even when no one else was using the other bathroom it was very frustrating !

  Thank you for bringing the toilet to our attention - we were not aware of this issue and will have it looked into ASAP. We are mindful of the en suite shower water pressure issues - normally it is ok but unfortunately there are times it drops and this is out of our control as reliant on the external water mains. We are exploring at investing into a system within the property to override this and improve the flow. We hope that you enjoyed your stay aside from the points you have raised. • "Had the best weekend with wonderful friends in this amazing house."

  Welcome basket was a very nice touch. Thank you! Clean, very spacious and close to all amenities. Sharon has been extremely helpful with lot of information about the local areas. Alexa + games were definitely a hit with us. Thank you very much, we will hopefully visit again soon.

• "Wonderful house in a fantastic location."

  It's been the perfect base, for us to travel and make the most of the mountain walks. Amazing Thai meal at Bangkok 7, which never fails to disappoints. With a lovely Sunday roast at Queens head, Troutbeck. Super comfortable beds. Well maintained. A kitchen with everything you could need and more.

  Lovely house with spacious bedrooms. Very clean. Had a good meal at Romneys and a good takeaway from the Indian down the road British Raj. The house is well located to walk into town.

• "Good location for Kendal and the southern lakes."

  Well equipped property with most things you would ever need. Main bedroom en-suite shower was not very good. Slow to get warm, poor power and occasionally gave no flow if someone else flushed a toilet or used a tap at the same time. Needs updating really. Had an unresolved problem with the bins. Outside bin was overflowing upon our arrival, so we had nowhere to put anything from our stay. Did get a response from the given contact number to acknowledge this, but still no resolution. Although there is technically parking for 2, this is very tight and challenging to use if all neighbours are in as well. Should be clearer in the description. Overall, we had a good stay despite these issues.

  Thank you for your feedback and we are glad that on the whole you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for bringing the shower water flow to our attention. This hasn't normally been an issue but we are sometimes at the liberty of the town's water mains pressure - however we will look to see if there is a solution to prevent this from reoccurring. In terms of the refuse collection, we are required to use commercial contractors to collect the refuse. Unfortunately at the time of your stay we experienced some issues with the collections, which resulted in the overflow. This has now been resolved with the contractors and should not be an issue going forward, but we are sorry if this caused any inconvenience. Property Owner

  The location is great with easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants! we ate out at Pedro's Casa and Romneys and both were great! Lovely Chinese takeaway from New fortune. We will definitely return and recommend to friends.

• "Staying in Aryelle house was a clean and comfortable experience, we had everything we could have needed for our stay - we even found a hot water bottle in the airing cupboard which was a lifesaver when my mum came down with a cold halfway through our holiday."

  We'd definitely recommend staying here to other families, it's such a convenient location for walking in to the town centre and it's a great base to set off from to see the lakes.

• "All 8 of us had a really lovely time."

  Food from the fells at the Factory Tap around the corner was most enjoyable. Kendal has been a great place to Visit. The Lakes have been stunning. Perfect accommodation for 3 generations to holiday together, clean + comfortable.

• "We stayed at Aryelle House for a wedding in Kendal."

  We stayed with our friends and their kids for 2 nights. The house is absolutely beautiful,so cosy the beds are the comfiest beds ever! Great location, great facilities in the kitchen and welcome gift really made it. Thank you for a lovely memorable weekend.

• "We had such a fantastic stay at Aryelle House."

  The house is very well appointed and is spotlessly clean. There are a huge array of restaurants and bars within walking distance and several supermarkets really close by. The parking for two cars behind the property is great. From Kendal you are in reach of so many places to visit. We were in the Lake District to do a ultra marathon, so knowing we had such a lovely house to go back to was just perfect. Thank you to Sharon the house keeper who was great with information before and during our stay! We highly recommend Aryelle House. Thank you!

• "Absolutely fabulous and beautiful furnishings."

• "Great location within easy walking distance of town centre."

  Parking just large enough for two cars (as long as your cars are not too big). House in great condition. Huge ensuite bedroom with family bathroom on first floor and two other great sized rooms on the second floor. Loads of games to keep you entertained and property in great condition.

• "Thank you for a lovely stay."

  2 x families and a dog stayed and was fab for the children to have a sleepover in the double and bunk bed room. Comfortable front room and well stocked kitchen. Lovely walk into Kendal- we ate at Ye Old Fleece Inn.
