Seashells cottage can only be described as excellent this our 5th visit, Lytham town centre is a 5 minute walk and Booths Super Market is even closer if you don’t want to drive there are numerous buses to St Anne’s,Cleveleys and Blackpool The welcoming pack is first class and very much appreciated without doubt this a 5 Star property.

Our stay at Seashells was very enjoyable, the cottage was well equipped for our needs and perfectly placed for the shops and seafront.

Absolute bonus of a property, close to Lytham town centre and around the corner from Booths which has a lovely cafe, also not far from waterfront.

The property is very clean and comfortable and a fabulous welcome pack was enjoyed by all.

Lovely warm welcoming cottage, exactly as described on the listing.

Fully equipped kitchen with a generous welcome pack. Comfortable beds with plenty of storage for clothes and cases . Nice bathroom with plenty of towels. Cottage is well appointed for all amenities, shops and plenty of nice places to eat nearby. We used the railway station for travelling around to neighbouring towns. Would definately recommend.

This is a wonderful property, everything you need from a home from home.

It's well situated for local amenities, buses, shops. Just a short drive to Blackpool, or take the bus.

Our second visit to Seashells Cottage This is the first time we have stayed again in the same property and it will not be the last.

Lovely clean house with all that is needed for a break .Plenty of hot water and the heating is easy to control.Great parking space in a nice quiet area.Fantastic location to all that there is to visit in Lytham.Lots of excellent restaurants ,cafes and bars to use without moving the car,all within easy walking distance. We would highly recommend the Queens Hotel with views over Lytham Green, their menu,lunch or evening is excellent ! Great communication from the owners..Will visit again Thank-you 5*

Seashells Cottage is the ideal place to relax and Lytham with all its amenities is just a 5 minute walk away.

This was our third visit in the last 12 months the cottage is very clean and tidy with an exceptional welcoming pack on arrival which is very much appreciated. We are already looking to rebook for 2026 most definitely 5 star

The property is located on the edge of Lytham but within easy reach of shops, cafes, restaurant s and a short walk to the sea front.

Which is flat. It's a short walk to a bus stop if you don't have a car one way to Blackpool the other to Preston We had a problem with a toilet flusher a phone call to the owner fixed it So overhaul its a good place to stay

Seashells cottage is warm and comfortable and has been decorated and kitted out, to a high standard.

It is unfortunate that there is no real outside seating area if the weather is good as the front is a public thoroughfare and the back concrete garage space. It is situated close to parks and the front and close to the shops. A very enjoyable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was very clean, full of everything we needed and a lovely welcome pack.

Quiet location, walking distance to Lytham and the children’s park was a welcome addition for our children, especially being so close to seashells. Couldn’t ask for anything better. Highly recommend.

Seashells cottage can only be described as excellent with everything that you need and just a 5 minute walk away from Lytham town centre Booths supermarket which is excellent is even closer.

This cottage is a credit to the owners and the welcome pack on arrival is first class we have already booked to come back,certainly 5 star

A lovely cottage, situated in a beautiful part of the country.

Once parked, you are within easy walking distance of everything.....shops, parks, restaurants, the bay. We had a very relaxing stay.

The cottage was spotless, cosy, and beautifully decorated — a real home away from home. The welcome pack was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel instantly at ease. We enjoyed visiting Central Beach, Lytham Pier, Lowther Gardens, Blackpool Tower, and Blackpool zoo, and loved our peaceful walks in the area. A perfect base for a relaxing break — we’d love to return!

What a fantastic choice we made !

This property was just perfect for us visiting relatives in the area .Arrrived 18th October and we had the best weeks weather of the month . We received the most generous welcome pack we have ever had! The house was really clean and had a lovely fresh smell,the beds were really comfy with quality linen.Lovely and warm with plenty of hot water when needed.We always bring our own supplies but there were plenty of towels, toilet rolls and tea,coffee and sugar etc if we needed them .The walk into Lytham was 5 minutes and there were lots of eateries to keep us happy all week including the poshest Wetherspoons we have ever had a drink in ! The communication from the owner was excellent and we look forward to another visit..Thank-you

We have stayed in many Sykes Cottages but found Seashells Cottage to be fairly basic.

There was no dressing table in either of the bedrooms, no hairdryer & most of the soft furnishings had seen better days. We also think it very mean to only provide 1 toilet roll. However, the bed was comfortable, the cottage was situated in a nice area with local facilities & the TV &Wifi were very good.

Our stay at Seashells Cottage was excellent the cottage was immaculate and exceptionally clean a credit to the owners all amenities were close by with Lytham Town Centre a 5 minute walk away and Booths supermarket even closer.

We will definitely be back.

Very clean, great little touches like milk and bags for a first cuppa, proper charging leads for all phones, etc. All mod cons and more. Would highly recommend.

A fantastic property.

We have booked to return for a third time as it is so lovely. The only slight change that we would like to recommend would be to have a hand rail at the bottom part of the stairs. It would make it safer for slightly older people.

Nice welcome pack on arrival :) Good quality and comfortable bed and bed linen :) well equipped kitchen Ideal location for a short walk into Lytham ( 5 Mins). Booths supermarket is just around the corner. We had a walk to St Annes by the sea which took just over an hour. Lytham hall is also a nice place to visit, it has a tearoom/cafe and small garden centre. I wouldn't hesitate to book to again Thank you :)

The house is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need with a great reception pack and we really appreciated getting a text with key info before we arrived. The location of Seashells is ideal with shopping, restaurants and seafront really close by. A great place to stay.

Very convenient to the town and within walking distance of the sea. Great to have onsite parking. Very well maintained. Heating control easy to use. The owners were helpful and very prompt in responding to a request for a shower mat. The kitchen is well equipped. Beds were very comfortable and great decor throughout. A lovely welcome hamper which was much appreciated. A fantastic holiday and have booked again.

It’s in a great location for the seafront and shops, cafes etc. with off-road parking (and friendly neighbours). The welcome basket was a lovely treat and everything was provided for a comfortable rest. Can’t wait to return!

Loved this cottage.

It was comfortable and cosy, with everything provided for a relaxing break. Bus stop around the corner, that will take you to nearby places, without having to use the car. It is also only a 10 mins walk to the seafront and Clifton street, where you will find plenty of cafés and places to eat. I would definitely stay at Seashells Cottage again. Pauline.

We visit Lytham at least once a year and have done so for past 30years, it’s a great little town with good local shops, this year we decided to rent a cottage and Seashells was just perfect.

It has great location only a few minutes walk to high street with shops, pubs and restaurants, Seashells cottage itself was very comfortable with nice beds, nice lounge area, spacious kitchen and a nice bathroom with bath and shower. We highly recommend this property and we hope to return in the near future.

Lovely cute little cottage in a convenient location with all mod cons and generous supplies (eg loo rolls, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets plus hand wash by kitchen sink and bathroom basin).

Kitchen had good range of utensils etc. for eating in. There were two clean tea towels and a pair of oven gloves plus very thoughtful welcome gift of biscuits and wine, as well as milk in the fridge. Would definitely recommend and consider staying again, thank you!

The owners have a beautifully furnished, well maintained and comfortable holiday rental.

The area is quiet but is easy walking distance to shops, cafes and transport. We will return here when next in the area.

Having read the visitor’s book the owners have obviously taken notice of the one comment made about the grab rail as the property had everything you could wish for and more besides.

Would definitely stay again.

Great location and furnished very nicely. We really enjoyed our stay Only feedback is that a grab rail in the bath would be very handy as it is a shower over a bath. There are actually a few comments about this in the visitors book so others have obviously thought it too.

We enjoyed our stay at seashells but a few details could be better our car got stuck in the deep gravel in the parking area as it is too deep Not enough crockery to make use of the dishwasher only 4 settings Location is very good and centrally situated in lytham We found the property comfortable

Handles to assist getting out of the bath after having a shower I found it quite difficult being an older person

Spotlessly clean and finished to a high standard with everything you could possibly need. The cottage is within walking distance of the town with lovely shops and places to eat and also within walking distance to transport links to Blackpool and beyond. Would definitely recommend.
