  • "We had a lovely peaceful comfortable stay."

The bungalow was cozy had everything we needed, short walk to Rossall Beach which the dog loved. Lovely drive to Lytham St Anne's along the coast. Weather was a bit iffy for a few days, so windy, and we couldn't go up Blackpool tower. Love Cleveleys, plenty of shops. There is a Morrisons nearby and an Asda towards Fleetwood. We just loved the peace and quiet. Thank you.

  • "A lovely spacious bungalow with all the facilities we could ask for and more."

In the perfect location close to the lovely beach. The seagulls were a problem as their young were on the roof and in the front garden which resulted in the seagulls attacking us most days but this was beyond the control of the owner. Suzanne, the owner, was extremely helpful.

Thanks for the feedback you were unlucky as the babies have now flown away and I am getting netting on the roof to stop them hatching next year - I hope you return next year and experience it without the seagul drama Property Owner

my friend and i slept very well my husband is disabled and he found one of the twin beds to low for him but we managed. the owner gave us a call to see if everything was alright, and told us about the sea gull nesting above her front door, i was hit by one of them. but was alright. had good time but just wish the weather had been better. apart from that we have no complaints and would recomend the proprety with sykes cottages from fiona high.

  • "Fab location which we already knew as we normally stay just around the corner."

Kitchen well equipped apart from a washing up bowl which would have been useful. Information folder was lacking in helpful information such as bin days, we had to go by what bins neighbours had put out. The general waste bin was full to the brim so don’t think it had been emptied. The windows needed a good clean and the vacuum cleaner was full and we certainly weren’t going to empty it. Would have been nice to be warned about seagulls, they had fledglings and attacked us every time we went outside. We did have a lovely holiday but unfortunately wouldn’t stay there again.

So sorry that you felt it necessary to leave such negative feedback especially when I made room in the bin myself after the last people didn’t empty it and you saw all the bins out the night before and still didn’t put it out.. I don’t know what more I could have done. The seagull situation was unusual and I am looking into how I can stop this happening in the future Property Owner

We were so comfortable and it felt like a real 'home from home'. The bungalow is situated in walking distance from the lovely beach where I was able to take my little dog for a long walk/run and my 94 year old Mum was able to sit and enjoy the sea front with an ice cream in hand. So so much to see and do on hand and nearby, a holiday we will remember with 5* accommodation. Thank you once again to the owner and Sykes who have never let us down! We are definitely wanting to come back! Margaret, Nana and Jess.

She said she was going on holiday the morning after, but didn’t leave a telephone number in case we had another problem. We couldn’t lock the back door from inside so we didn’t use that door. Apart from that the bungalow was warm & comfortable . Easy access to the beach & surrounding places to visit.

Thanks for your feedback I will look into the key . I didn’t leave another number because I left my my phone on so was contactable. Property Owner

  • "We chose a bungalow because we are all elderly."

There is a deep step immediately into the front door which was an unexpected challenge. The single beds were very low and the mattress were very very soft and low with tired sagging slats, the double bed was better but no one slept well. The bungalow was clean but basics were missing like a washing up bowl, jug, sieve or colander, corkscrew...and more smaller glasses than 2 would have been appreciated. The TV was splendid but 4 people couldn't sit comfortably and see it without rearranging the furniture. Not the relaxing break we were hoping for.

Sorry that you found the small step at the front a surprise as it’s clearly visible in the photos. The back door has a ramp if you found the step a challenge? The beds and mattresses were purchased brand new a year ago so it’s unfair of you to describe them as ‘ sad and sagging’ past guests have remarked how comfy they are! maybe you prefer the divan base beds which if you look in the pics mine are not. The kitchen is fully equipped with every you would want including a sieve and a selection of different size glasses to accommodate everyone, the very large tv is on a bracket so you can tilt it any angle if you would have contacted me I would have been happy to find the Sieve for you and tilt the tv - there was no need at all to rearrange all of the furniture in the living room Property Owner
