"Very clean."
Everything needed for a good break. One very small thing missing was a USB charger point.

"I truly had a fantastic week's holiday in Gargrave at Riverstone Cottage!"
!! Lynn & Roger were very hospitable & very welcoming hosts. I would highly recommend this lovely property to everyone!!!
-
"Riverstone Cottage is lovely."
It is very well maintained, and equipped in a thoughtful manner to cover all needs. The main bedroom is particularly spacious and the twin room also of a good size. The kitchen is particularly attractive and well appointed. The location is of course ideal for exploring the Dales and visiting local beauty spots. Altogether highly recommended.
-
"An amazing well proportioned property set in a lovely village close to Skipton."
Lovely owner who is extremely helpful and accommodating. Stayed a few times and would highly recommend to anyone.
-
"The cottage is ideally located in a pretty village with good facilities, pubs, shop, railway and bus services."
On arrival the property was immaculately presented with everything we needed. Only minor negative was the nearby road noise from the A59. We had a memorable week at Riverstone and may well return!!!
-
"I think the only down side on the property."
1. The road traffic was bad, for someone that needs to sleep with the window open at night. Did not sleep well at all. That said acceptable if the windows are shut as did have double glazing. 2. As we are both 6ft the bath was abit short, although for a holiday let I suppose okay, so more of an observation than anything. Otherwise the property met our expectations.

"Very enjoyable week, well provisioned accommodation with all you would need."
Local pub food and chip shop very good, local shop also very well stocked. Parking as per other reviews was mainly at end of road, advise not parking under trees as paintwork on cars is at risk from birds (my own fault). Also shower is very low in bath, taller people need to bend/knee to use it effectively - but for a week it was not an issue.
-
"Everything was very good and met expectations, very good facilities."
Whilst shower was great, unfortunately 'headroom' is limited by sloping ceiling (but can't say that was too much of a problem.
-
"Very well equipped cottage in a beautiful setting."
-
"The cottage is very cosy."
The owners have thought of everything a person could possibly need during their stay. It is very well equipped throughout with a very comfortable bed. It is situated with easy access to facilities within the village. Gargrave is a lovely place to stay I am sure we will return.

"Cottage had everything you need, was clean and warm."
No problems with parking Was surprised that Gargrave had as much traffic as it did tho
-
"Lovely, comfortable property."
Immaculately clean. Very well equipped, everything we needed for a week’s stay. The welcome pack was a nice gesture. The property is set off a small side street near the busy road, but did not cause any noise issues. It was in fact a great base location to explore the Dales. The village of Gargrave itself has so much to offer. Friendly residents, lovely tearoom, great chip shop and a fantastic bus service. Along with a couple of nice pubs and a good size co-op. In summary this is a little gem of a cottage and would highly recommend. A+

"Stayed for a week at the beginning of March."
The cottage itself was perfect for our party of four. Spotlessly presented and with a very kind and generous welcome pack. There was nothing we were short of for the whole week. Very cosy and quick to warm up on a cold evening with the supplied logs. The village is also an ideal spot for exploring the surrounding area, excellent facilities all round. We are already at looking into a return visit to the same cottage. Thank you Lynn and Roger for providing an immaculate place for a holiday.

"Spotlessly clean, well equipped and extremely comfortable cottage."
Good bed, slept well, conveniently located for visiting the Dales. Cake, biscuits and flowers to greet us on arrival was a lovely touch.
-
"Lovely place and very nice owners."
Will stay again sometime if the price is right
-
"The cottage is really well presented, and a lot of thought had gone in to making sure that all everything is provided that will make a comfortable and easy stay."
. This also helps to make initial arrival at the cottage a very welcoming experience. The kitchen is particularly attractive and spacious, and the bedrooms are also very comfortable. Gargrave is a great location for exploring and also has good local pubs and a very well stocked Co-op. This cottage is ideal for a wide variety of holiday makers.

"Riverstone is a lovely cottage equipped with everything you might need."
It is beautifully decorated and well maintained. The owners are very helpful and easily contactable and they ensured we had everything we needed for our stay with a 1 year old. The village has a lovely park for children just a short walk from the cottage. There are also good pubs and restaurants if you want to eat out.
-

"The cottage was lovely and comfortable."
Everything we needed was there. We had a lovely week.
-
"This is a little gem of a cottage in lovely Gargrave, an ideal location for the Dales in all directions."
It suited me, a single holidayer, but is geared up for couples and even a small family. Everything was great, and the Netflix was a surprise added bonus, as was the thoughtfully left pint of milk and cake with a personalised message from the owners. Parking is on the street but I never had to park further away as everyone is tolerant and accomodating, even to 'outsiders'. A small suggestion: the cottage is well-equipped but you could usefully provide a pyrex dish with a lid (for cooking in the microwave).
-
"A lovely cottage, very well kept and presented."
Location and facilities good. We thoroughly enjoyed our week.
-
"Very good and very clean will be back"
-
"Location is delightful in heart of Gargrave - beautifully presented - lovely gesture of bunch flowers/ cake/milk - house immediately feels homely - ideal for 2 or family 4 with small children - very good local general store 100 yards - small patio very safe for children - managed to park car outside house but little bit of lottery however safe parking very close end road next to small park/ near to river."
lots excellent walks from cottage including one of the Pennine way walks thru middle village.

"Very comfortable stay in a well equipped cottage immaculately clean in a very ..."
Very comfortable stay in a well equipped cottage immaculately clean in a very pleasant village We were a little disappointed that it was adjacent to a main road but other than that it was ideal A visitors book I feel would be a bonus to be able to give direct feedback to the owners and guests alike We thoroughly enjoyed our stay , wonderful walking right from the doorstep , a fabulous fish and chip shop and Indian restaurant in the village a lovely bonus
-

-
"Perfectly placed in the village, not far from the bus stop to Settle, Skipton and further afield."
Great fish and chip shop, Indian restaurant, Co-op and pubs practically on the doorstop. Great walks to take you further afield and a good base for exploring by car as well. The cottage was immaculately clean, comfortable and very well equipped, a real home from home. The bed was so comfortable that we want one the same!! Would recommend this property.
-
"Lovely little cottage and well equipped."
Not always possible to park outside cottage which can be an issue when unloading the car, but otherwise not a problem, as always spaces further down the road. The cottage is a little compact for 4 adults, but a lovely place for a family and its location superb as a base to visit the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
-

"It was a nice, well furnished cottage in a good position."
We found it was an excellent basis for a holiday in Warfedale.
-
"Cottage had everything you could possibly need."
Village is an idyll, complete with large greens and stepping stones across the river. Had fantastic days out in the area visiting Malham cove, Skipton Castle and market, Settle and Grassington. Had excellent take away meal from local Indian restaurant and ate at the Mason Arms twice, all good. Really fantastic week away, would have gladly stayed a fortnight.
-
"Riverstone cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped, also the beds were so comfortable !"
It was a real home from home
-
"Lovely cottage well presented in a lovely area ot the dales."
Would certainly recommend Riverstone Cottage to anyone looking to stay in the dales.
-
"We have had a lovely stay at Riverstone Cottage, it was immaculately clean, comfortable and cosy."
The main bedroom had a very comfortable kingsize bed and a TV. The kitchen is well equipped and all cleaning products supplied. We did not manage to park outside the cottage every day but there was plenty of parking just round the corner. If the weather had been warmer ( it was rather cold and wet ) we would maybe have missed a garden, there is only a small yard at the back, however the riverside with seats is just at the bottom of the road. Gargrave is very well placed for visiting anywhere in the Dales, and you can cycle on the canal towpath in both directions, it is only 5 miles all offroad to Skipton. We had a very nice holiday despite the weather.
-
"We have just returned from a lovely stay at Riverstone Cottage."
The property was very clean, well equipped and Covid guidelines adhered to. Contact with the owner was brilliant and we will definitely be returning.
-
"A very comfortable cottage and very clean ."
Facilities very good for our needs.
-
"An extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean cottage that was perfectly equipped for our needs."
Gargrave is an excellent base for exploring the Dales as well as a delight in itself. Very good shop, fish and chips and walks from the door, and our kids loved the fantastic village park. Could not recommend more highly.
-
"Enjoyed a week at Riverstone cottage."
Lovely cosy place and well equipped. Cot and high chair available upon arrival. Not always possible to park outside cottage but plenty spaces available further down the one way road. Situated close to main road so noise from traffic can be an issue if you’re a light sleeper otherwise a superb accommodation for a small family.
-
"A lovely cosy cottage with lots of home comforts."
