"Lovely quiet location."
Loved the railway track walk in to Keswick. Clean and well kept area. It should be clear in the description that the holiday park is outside Keswick- stating it is accessible by walking 30 minutes or driving 10 minutes. We were disappointed not to be closer to our friends this holiday.

"Very disappointed."
Whoever took photographs of the property was very creative. Property was well equipped but furnishing were very poor, dirty and uncomfortable. On suite shower was pathetic as was the bed in this room. Outside space was small and made even smaller by the addition of the hot tub we didn’t have access to. Very glad there were only two of us staying there - it certainly isn’t big enough for four adults. Location was very good
Thank you for taking the time to review our property, we value all customer feedback and will take all of your points in to careful consideration. I'm sorry you feel that the photos aren't accurate for this property, or that you found some of the furniture and a bed uncomfortable; we are refurbishing our riverside cottages this year and so new photos will be taken once this is complete. The garden on the rear of the property isnt advertised as being large, it is a small outdoor area with a picnic bench so you can relax by the river, the hot tub installation is also part of the refurbishment, this will be plumbed in once works have commenced. I'm thrilled you liked the location however, it would be great to have you back in the future in another one of our many different properties. Kindest Regards, The Low Briery Team Property Owner

"Our rental property was undergoing renovation upon our arrival."
We were upgraded to a luxury lodge instead. The lodge was exceptional in every aspect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had not visited Low Briery for a few years but we will be back.

"En-suite shower non-existent, very poor water pressure meaning all 4 guests had to use one rather than being able to use both as advertised."
Headboard in bedroom adjoining the en-suite - very loose and away from the wall which caused disturbances through the night for all Thick of dust on top of picture frame in non-ensuite bathroom, clearly hadn't been wiped for months as there was much that much dust. Cupboard door in kitchen off its hinges, hanging off which was a hazard should the door have come off. Lack of tea-towels and pan scrubbers - clearly a money making exercise as other towels could be rented for additional costing!? Property was excessively hot but we had no control over the heating at all and this caused a lot of discomfort for a person who has fibromyalgia (sensitive to temperatures) No welcome pack like you see in all other lets - this was quite hostile and upsetting as you would expect to see nice little biscuits, tea/coffee to welcome you....but nothing Lack of accessibility which caused huge upset for my parents - no hand rails down the very slippy and poorly positioned slate steps to the entrance of the property. No guard rails for the shower facilities, which my mother needs but we didn't know there was a lack of such things at time of booking. It upset my mother's dignity and she felt embarrassed that she needed so much help around the property as a result of Lack of thought around this property. We even had to request a bath mat to make the shower/bath safer but due to lack of walk in shower (en-suite water pressure) my mother felt this really impacted her hygiene as unable to use a "shower over bath" facility. The staff on site however were helpful and did offer to change us to a different let however this would have been more upheaval for frail parents with mobility issues. We will not be going back to Low Briery holiday park, for the money we expected much more for £625 for low season. A very disappointing stay but more upsetting is lack of accessibility and the fact there is no mention of this in the cottage details - customers should be made aware of this prior to booking so they can seek a let with accessibility in mind. It should be detailed within the write-up/specification Please be mindful when booking and to request further information regarding accessibility should this be something you require.

"Great little house, great for 2 people and a dog, probably would be a bit of a squeeze with 4 people."
Clean and tidy, I took washing up liquid and dishcloths etc, but this was all provided
-
"The cottage in Low Briery Holiday Park was perfect in every way: clean, comfortable, crisp white linen, the beautiful River Greta right outside, and some great walks right on the doorstep."
We won't hesitate in coming back here.
