  • "A lovely stay in a very clean and spacious apartment with stunning views."

The location was perfect for the beach and a short walk into Barmouth centre.

  • "I was disappointed with the lack of efficient WiFi this week."

However, I realise that Tara and her partner were doing all they can to rectify it. The apartment at the top of the house has very good facilities for self-catering. It is in a very good location with views over the sand dunes to the sea. I appreciate the use of the car park badge nearby.

The cleanliness and comfort was to a high standard, and all of the necessary facilities were provided to make this an enjoyable self-contained holiday break. The central position of the apartment in Barmouth also made for easy road and rail access.

  • "The flat was extremely well equipped, light, spacious & really comfortable with stunning sea views."

Really nice touches were the extras on arrival - bread, eggs, milk, orange juice & water. The chocolates were generous too. It was a great base to tour from as ideally placed to go exploring. The ensuite decor in the main bedroom was tired ,but very useable. Thank you. We really enjoyed our stay.

  • "Lovely stay in a beautiful setting, very private upstairs apartment is perfect for a family stay."

Modern TVs, etc in living and bedroom areas very homely and comfortable for a weekly/weekend holiday. Kitchen equipment has been kept immaculate, good quality induction hob and oven. Would stay again in a heartbeat perfect seafront location with sea views to the front and mountainous to the rear. Is some small wear and tear to the property but this is not due to lack of maintenance from the owners and rather the age of the building and certainly does not effect the cleanliness

  • "This was a fantastic property, which was spacious, airy and well equipped."

Barmouth is a fantastic place, with great scenery over the Mawddach estuary and into Snowdonia and the bay, plenty of pubs, cafes & restaurants, plus with easy access. The apartment overlooks the sea but is just far enough away (a couple of minutes walk) from the town centre, so is quiet in the evening and at night. It's very clean and comfortable and the owners, Jack & Tara are lovely. There's plenty of space for a family of four or even five. There's a parking permit for the car park over the road but you can park for free on the road itself if you can get a space. This is.a real help as there are properties in the old town that you can't even get a car near, so unloading and loading are really easy. There's a couple of parts of the apartment that could do with a lick of paint but that didn't detract in any way from my enjoyment of the stay there. One word of warning. It's a top floor apartment with a couple of flights of steps and there are some steps up from the apartment door into the apartment itself. There's no lift, so if you have mobility issues, this probably isn't the place for you. If you've got toddlers then you might want to bring a stair-gate with you. The big question of any holiday let is would I go back? Absolutely I would and am already trying to sort out a date.

  • "I stayed at the Sandpiper with my mum and son 20th- 27th August and our stay was fabulous."

We walked in to a breakfast pack and some small chocolates which my son loved. The owners Tara and Jack were very accommodating, lovely people. The place was so clean and it had everything there. We woke up to some stunning views of the beach and sea. We really didn't want to leave. Thank you again x
