Perfect for families or groups of friends, this delightful retreat offers off-road parking for up to six cars, a toasty woodburning stove and welcomes two well-behaved pets, providing an idyllic base for exploring the picturesque countryside.

Upon entering the property through the porch, you will enter through to a snug area complete with a TV and an electric fire nestled in an inglenook fireplace, ideal for quieter moments.

The spacious kitchen/diner, is fully equipped for all your culinary needs, whip up a feast to enjoy at the dining table set for eight, there is also a TV to enjoy after dinner, and games are available for some quality family time.

Adjacent to this, you will find a handy utility room housing a fridge/freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer, perfect for those longer stays.

Trefonen is a rural village which stands between the ancient English border town of Oswestry and the Welsh village of Llanhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, home to Pistyll Rhaeadr, the UK’s highest single drop waterfall. This traditional village boasts a pub, shop and has Offa's Dyke pathway running through the village. It is located close to where the successful 1995 film “The Englishman Who Went up a Hill but Came Down a Mountain” was filmed. The whole area is surrounded by lovely countryside, which extends into the Berwyn Mountain Range - perfect for wonderful scenic walks and cycle trails, including along the Berwyn Ridge Pathway, the Offa’s Dyke Path and through the beautiful Tanat and Ceiriog Valleys.
