"Beautiful garden, kitchen, downstairs wc and bathroom."
The lounge felt like it needed a bit more personality. The decor in there seens a bit cold rather than cosy and the sofa is ready for a replacement, as the seat cushions aren't comfortable. The bedrooms are nice, but there isn't enough storage, so some drawers would be useful, along with mirrors near plug sockets. The heating system didn't suit us well, as you can't isolate individual rooms, but this may work for others.

"We had an amazing time."
The owner has thought of everything you need. The shower was not draining, but we simply bought some drain cleaner and job done. Not something we thought we needed to bother the owner with. The grass was a little long in the garden, especially when you have a four legged friend with you. But please don't think any of this is negative it's a great property and we would certainly return.

"The shower tray did not drain quickly enough."
Other than that, it was a great place to stay with many touches that made it a home from home. I will be looking to book it again for next year. Thank you.

"The house is spotless well done to who ever keeps this house beautiful ."
Beds were lovely and clean everything you would need was in the house . Would definitely come again

"We had the best time in Scotland, we were only there for a 4 night stay and one of our nights we stayed in a hotel in the highlands due to a 2 day explore of Scotland, this was not because of the accommodation we hired the accommodation as we were able to have family over for a meal which was very nice to have the space."
We could have stayed at a Premier Inn but knew that that we had Fabulous accommodation, clean, tidy and well set out and a little more expensive than Premier but would not have been able to relax as much as we did with rental accommodation. I highly recommend this property if travelling to Scotland 5 minutes to airport and my brother stayed a short distance and we hadn’t seen each other for 25 years. So a big well done and will surely use you again.

"The photos don't do the house justice!"
It was bigger than I had expected. It was clean, warm, nicely fitted out and well decorated, on a quiet new housing estate close to the river Don and handy for Aberdeen and major roads out. The owner was very responsive to emails. The house suited us very well, and we had a lovely stay there. The owner had decorated the house for Christmas too, which was lovely. The Scottish shower gels and hand wash in each bathroom was a nice touch. Thank you!

"Schönes Haus mit genügend Platz für die ganze Familie, sehr gute Ausstattung, mit allem, was man braucht!"
-
"Nearby airport rather noisy."
We found the lighting for reading in the sitting room was inadequate. Being able to sit in the garden was a bonus.

"We stayed for almost a month at this beautiful home and wished we could have stayed longer."
The house was immaculate and the owner arranged for cleaners to come and clean the property and change bed linen and towels mid stay. The garden was beautiful and fully enjoyed by the dogs. The location is excellent near to shops pubs and beautiful scenic locations too. Thank you to Sarah, the owner who immediately put right the microwave knob which was broken and was very accommodating with answering any questions too. Hopefully we will be back in the Summer.

"We had an amazing time at Goodhope Gardens only one complaint …."
4 nights wasn’t long enough! The house itself is immaculate, spacious and very comfortable - it is full with everything you may need for your stay and much more - the bookcase is full of books, games & DVD’s for adults & kids, upstairs there is also kids toys and (we didn’t use but) stairgates/cot/high chair etc The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and enough plates etc for a family of 5. We all had great sleeps - beds comfy, plenty of pillows etc. We kept forgetting we were in a city as there really was no noise at night times no passing traffic - a very well kept and nice residential area. Oh & the garden was a very nice space - big enough for kids to play in, private enough to sit out in, beautiful summer house that is a Sun trap - two benches outside & deck chairs in shed also! From booking to arriving to checking out the owner Sarah was so helpful and attentive .. even when I messaged her after 11pm on the first night to check how we boosted hot water (if we needed too at any point which we didn’t need to) not expecting a reply to morning she got straight back to me. Will definitely return to this property and will definitely recommend to friends / family.

About the location
ABERDEEN
Bridge of Don 4.3 miles; Cove Bay 4.7 miles; Dyce 6.2 miles.
Aberdeen is a city in northeast Scotland. The city has been dwelled in for at least 8,000 years, it began as two separate burghs: Old Aberdeen and New Aberdeen, where the Denburn waterway entered the river Dee estuary. During the Wars of Scottish Independence, Aberdeen was under English rule, so Robert the Bruce laid siege to Aberdeen Castle before destroying it in 1308, followed by the massacring of the English garrison. The city was burned by Edward III of England in 1336, but was rebuilt and extended. The city was strongly fortified to prevent attacks by neighbouring lords, but the gates were removed by 1770. The traditional shopping streets are Union Street and George Street, now complemented by shopping centres, most notably the Bon Accord & St Nicholas and the Trinity Shopping Centre. Aberdeen has long been famous for its 45 parks and gardens, and citywide floral displays which include two million roses, eleven million daffodils and three million crocuses. Aberdeen has hosted several theatres throughout its history, some of which have subsequently been converted or destroyed. The most famous include: His Majesty's Theatre on Rosemount Viaduct and The Tivoli, on Guild Street. Aberdeen is home to a number of events and festivals including the Aberdeen International Youth Festival (the world's largest arts festival for young performers), Aberdeen Jazz Festival, Aberdeen Alternative Festival, Rootin' Aboot (a folk and roots music event), Triptych, the University of Aberdeen's literature festival Word.
