  • "Thank you for a great stay."

Chalet 52 was perfect for our needs, clean and well equipped. There were a few niggles, one bedside lamp did not work, a bulb in the bedroom overhead light fitting needed renewing, the 'non-slip' bath mat was incredibly slippery and frankly quite dangerous. We left a note advising of these issues. None of these things affected our enjoyment of the accommodation and we would happily rebook. Thank you again for a very pleasant stay in your property.

Toilet had poo on the bowl and the Cleaning brush poop stuck all on it nasty.ps2 games didn't work apart from 2, adult dvds needed not kids my niece is 12 not 5, had to rewash all oven trays and saucepans crumbs all in cutlery tray the kitchen blind badly stained and dead moth on it. The pool wasn't open as advertised kids very jarred about that

Thank you for taking the time to give feedback. I am so sorry the chalet was not clean. I will inform the cleaner of this immediately, as previously there has been good feedback regarding the cleanliness of the chalet. The videos and games are provided complimentary and free of charge for use by customers, and are not tailored towards the age range of those staying. Customers are welcome to bring their own games or videos for use on the TV in the chalet. I obviously have no control over the sites facilities including the pool opening - the pool is not advertised as part of the chalet. Property Owner

The beds leave a lot to be desired, all beds are uncomfortable. When we go again next year (2025) we hope the beds will have been sorted out.

Thank you for taking the time to give feedback. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and have already rebooked for next year. It would seem new mattresses are required for the 2025 season. Property Owner

..I finally folded a duvet to ease the pain, I am leaving with a stiff neck/frozen shoulder. you need to make it clear on the write up that there is no WiFi, as in the time of technology I thought WiFi is standard.  the chalet smells fusty/mouldy, and damp patches can be seen on both bedroom ceilings.  as we arrived at just after 3pm, as told was allowed by the owner, we found the cleaners, they were told 4pm...so this needs sorting,  and they were quick to tell us how bad the previous people had left it... despite them not cleaning skirting boards, under beds or getting rid of cobwebs.... so all in all my worst holiday yet, we are leaving tonight as I can not move my head...

  • "The chalet had almost everything you would need for a comfortable holiday."

We went out every day and explored the area. There are lots of lovely beaches and the only thing you can't control is the weather, but we were lucky as we had mostly fairly good weather. The only thing in the chalet was the TV which for some reason would not tune into ITV3, so my husband couldn't watch the cricket between England and the West Indies, so we listened to the commentary instead. Apart from that which sounds not very important, the chalet was comfortable, and clean, so the week went quickly, and it was only the weather that wasn't as good as it could have been, but you can't change our weather to suit one person. I would like to say that the electricity was very economic, as the money which had been put on the meter allowed us to use the electricity without continually having to put more and more cash in the meter. Having constant hot water is a luxury so that was a benefit we were pleased about.

Dear Susan, Thank you for taking the time to give feedback. I am glad you found the chalet comfortable and that there was always plenty of hot water available. Property Owner

Nice and clean. The site is dated as all these chalet parks are now but the shop was fully stocked with everything required. Hemsby is ideally located to visit other parts of Norfolk. Had a wonderful time thank you.

  • "As a last minute booking it was OK."

The beds where uncomfortable & the fire alarm went off every time we used the oven or toaster. It was nice & quite & a good area as a base to visit nearby attractions, bus stop at the end of the road. Beach was a 20 minute walk also 20 minutes to the village where you will find shops/ takeaway. There was a shop on site which was well stocked.

Thank you for taking time to leave a comment about my chalet. I have added toppers to the single beds and will also add one to the double bed for more comfort. The alarm is there for a reason. Property Owner

The settee was well worn and the fire alarm sounded when we used the toaster or oven but the chalet had everything for the two of us.

Thank you for taking time to give feedback on my chalet. I am glad you had a great week. The cleaner notified me this week that one of the settees had a few loose springs ,these have now been mended. Although annoying the smoke alarm needs to sound when it senses burning. Property Owner

it was clean and well equipped and we had a lovely holiday with our grandson. the information was accurate and we had no problems. We would have preferred to have internet access but we booked knowing it was not available. We would recommend this chalet for anyone wanting a peaceful holiday, a short cars journey from lovely beaches.

It's Very clean and that is the most important thing to me. The only thing missing was a clothes line, or airer, as not everything can go in the drier. Not a major problem I just took most of the washing home. We will be booking with you again as we are regular visitors to Norfolk. Many thanks Dawn & Pete x

Hi Dawn and Pete, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your lovely feedback. I am extremely pleased that you found the chalet very clean. There is a small retractable washing line on the porch which may have not been very obvious. Look forward to welcoming you again to my chalet at Hemsby. Property Owner
