  • "We stayed at 1 The Dell for a week in September."

The chalet was clean and the kitchen was well equipped - apart from the lack of any oven gloves. The tea towels supplied were very thin meaning it was impossible to get anything out of the oven without getting burnt. The fridge freezer was a good size and efficient. Nice dining table with comfy chairs. The living room was a good size but the sofa was awful. It was L shaped and although the seats were reasonably comfortable, the back was awful. It was very low, giving no support above the shoulders and the cushions were dreadful. We added pillows from the beds for extra comfort. It is also quite small - there were only 3 adults in our party and we feel if there had been four of us we would not have been able to fit on the sofa. There was another chair but this was horrible - uncomfortable and the legs were so wobbly we didn't risk sitting in it. The bathroom had a constant smell in it and the shower was awful. Absolutely no power and the shower head looked like it had never been cleaned or de-scaled. The bedrooms were very small but ok. Furniture was fine and our adult daughter was quite happy in the twin room. This may not have been the case if there were two adults in there though as it was tiny. The double bed was not great - a hard wooden frame made it uncomfortable to sit up in and the bottom of the bed has wooden ends that stick up. There is very little space to get round the bottom of the bed and we had only been in the chalet 10 minutes when my husband hit his knee on it causing bleeding and swelling - not a great start! The mattress was ok but not the best - we kept rolling into the middle. So there were negatives which would probably prevent us going there again, but it could be so nice if these were addressed. The decor of the chalet was lovely - we liked the beach theme. The location is perfect, Mundesley is a lovely village and to be so close to the beach was great. We did enjoy our holiday but the bed, shower and sofa definitely need addressing.

The property was clean and tidy settee was very uncomfortable and we arrived on the hottest day of the year and the fridge wasn’t on which was quite annoying

We are sorry you found the sofa uncomfortable, your comfort is important to us and we have since had the cushions refilled by a professional upholstery company. I am glad despite this you enjoyed your holiday . Kind regards Nadine Gray Property Owner

  • "Had a wonderful week at 1 the Dell."

The weather could have been better, but we still enjoyed it with all the local shops and pubs close at hand and a few nice trips to Cromer and Sheringham. The chalet was clean and comfortable with all the equipment we needed. Highly recommended.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We are so pleased you enjoyed your holiday and the chalet. We hope we will see you again in the future. Kind regards Nadine Property Owner

  • "The twin beds need memory foam toppers as they are really uncomfortable and tge sette needs replacing due to the back cushions squashing down ."

Electric shower very hard to get to a suitable temperature . Apart from these faults the Chalet is very nice and reasonably clean , the Dell is a lovely peaceful place just a short walk from Mundesley Beach which the dogs loved . The Catch fish and chip shop is very good and is just round the corner from the Dell . Mundesley is a good base for visiting the lovely beaches etc in the area . You must visit Hillside Shire Horse sanctuary for a lovely afternoon out surrounded by gorgeous resued animals of all kinds . All in all we had a lovely holiday in Norfolk despite the bad weather

Thank you for your review, we are sorry you found the single beds uncomfortable. Your comfort is important to us and therefore we have replaced the single mattresses with new memory foam topped ones. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again in the future. • "I feel that 2 handles in the shower and a shelf would be great , the TV needs sorting."

Very comfortable and equipped, peaceful place to stay and would certainly return.

We are pleased you enjoyed your stay, we do offer suction grab handles on request, we apologise for this information being unavailable. If you visit again please do ask. I am sorry you experienced some isues with the tv reception. Unfortunately the pixelation problems with channels 1 & 2 were due to current maintenance works on the transmitter at Taconelston and beyond our control. We look forward to seeing you again in the future. Kind regards, Nadine. Property Owner
