  • "Great property, which was spotlessly clean with lots of little extras provided."

Great little outside space with a little babbling brook. Close to the beach, shops and pubs. Would highly recommend.

  • "Megan Cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortable and decorated with artistic flair, with a delightful stream running through the enclosed garden."

The owner was friendly and helpful, providing us with a list of restaurants. The fresh flowers and welcome pack were much appreciated. The cottage is ideally situated to explore Sheringham and the surrounding areas with parking at the front of the property - we were able to park our Mitsubishi Outlander with ease.

  • "Lovely property in a great location."

The cottage was very clean and well equipped. The only downside was parking . This property does NOT have off street parking. While the area at the front is large enough to take a small car there is no dropped curb. We parked at the long stay car park round the corner which cost £34 for the week.

The parking space was just adequate for my Tiguan so would be OK for most cars. Very convenient for all that Sheringham has to offer, our car spent most of the week at the cottage. The cottage is very well equipped and met all our needs.

Managed to park our Ford Focus Estate at the front with at least 4” to spare. Thank you Lindy and Rachael for your welcome and very helpful emails. Would recommend Megan Cottage to anyone. Visits to Cromer and further afield very easy ( the car stayed put all week), and the Steam Railway and the Mo Museum are musts. The wind off the North Sea was a bit of a challenge though !

The cottage was extremely comfortable and exceptionally clean. It was also in a good location, just up from the town and the beach. We have a Peugeot 3008 but still managed to park on the drive, although it doesnt have a dropped kerb. Would definitely stay again.

  • "What a fabulous find."

The cottage was absolutely lovely. Very, very clean. The facilities were excellent. The only thing that would have made the stay perfect was to have a drop-down kerb to allow easier parking at the front of the cottage. Lindy was lovely and very helpful. There if she was needed but otherwise left us to enjoy our holiday.

Highly recommended . If you are very tall like me, the sofas are low and that's the only downside. Though not specifically recommended, we managed to park our estate car on the front with no overhang onto the footpath. Just take care and move slowly up the kerb.

  • "One of the best cottages we have stayed in; the kitchen in particular was extremely well equipped."

Rooms are a generous size and will accommodate 4 adults easily. The location is ideal, with everything within easy walking distance. Parking in a pay and display car park nearby, on road parking not generally available. Some of the property photos are a little out of date, the garden is now reduced in size (although still perfectly usable) and not all the wardrobes shown are available to visitors - these are very minor niggles however and did nothing to spoil our enjoyment.

400 yard/5 minute walk from the sea front which allows you to stroll along the promenade and subsequent beach in either direction. 2/3 minute walk from the main street of shops. Megan Cottage was spacious and airy and a lovely conservatory led into a small garden area with seating and a lounger to enjoy the sunshine. Nice big dining table from which to enjoy your meals and play board games. Both bedrooms are good sized and so was the bathroom. Great amount of storage and hangers Very clean and very tidy.
