Our only niggle was the patio shared with Tan Bryn 2 which was fine just if both have dogs it could be a problem perhaps a gate between the two places.. fortunately both dogs got on.. We'll hopefully be back if there availability soon

A little disappointed that the flat wasn't serviced for our second week, fortunately I had taken my own tea towels (only 2 provided) but would have liked clean sheets and towels. The local Spar sells toilet rolls, as again only 2 provided, so wasn't really a problem. We will not be returning to these flats for the foreseeable NOT because of any of the above but our 12 and half year old golden retriever struggled to get up and down the flight of steps.

We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful start to the New Year. Despite wet and windy weather we had a wonderful stay. Walks on the beach and in the countryside with the dog, pies, bread and cakes from the bakery and a drink or 3 and food from the local pub. All within a few minutes walk. The local people are warm, friendly and very welcoming. We will definitely be back.

.that really says it all. Reason it has dropped to 4 stars for us was the dining chairs, which have (in our opinion) become a little unsafe. Will probably use TB 2 in future as it has bar stools. Also, we couldn't get the TV to work, which to us wasn't a problem but could well be to others. (probably doing something wrong!) Other than that, another fantastic break

  • "Great apartment in a lovely village that is just opening up again."

The outdoor seating area was a lovely sun trap. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated with nice little decor touches. Shower water was very hot all the time which was much appreciated. I was really pleased to be able to watch my Netflix account late evening as I wasn’t expecting to get any wifi which was a super addition. And how can I best describe that stunning beach just around the corner which my dog made full use of.

However, the alarm battery went off at 2pm in the morning. We all had to wake up, include my child. I have to phone the lady, and they were good coming to fix the problem soon. It was a little bit noisy too. Other than that, it is a lovely flat above the chips&fish shop. Thank you.

  • "We loved the location of the property, the sunny terrace and the stream right nearby that the kids played at every day."

The downsides was no TV (the TV was there but due to technical problems, wouldn't connect to the internet). We took DVDs as the description said there was a player, but unfortunately there wasn't, so this couldn't be used as a backup. Natalie tried to sort it for us but couldn't. The kitchen bin was also full of rubbish on our arrival! Also, if I'm being picky, there's only room for 3 people to eat at the table as one edge is against the wall. We managed, as we had 2 kids and used a spare chair out of the bedroom, but you would struggle with older kids or adults.

Perhaps a tad to small for us with two small children (we had to surrender the living space for a sofa bed ) but it was only for a week ! Outdoor area with gate, table and chairs. Apartment has everything you need and the owner is very friendly. Only negative was the bathroom light not working or the fan and one of the table chairs dodgy and could do with replacing. Cleaner had left food in the fridge from the previous holiday maker and handle on bedroom door needs replacing as the catch has broken. All in all very comfortable accommodation

Beautifully decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean and with lovely little touches, like pebbles from the beach and artwork made by Natalie, the owner. I was hesitant about booking an apartment above the fish bar but there wasn’t any smells inside the apartment and minimal noise plus it was so friendly, the food was delicious and a real treat that it is caught locally by the owner! I enjoyed lobster tails and homemade crabcakes with gluten free chips, all very tasty. I cannot recommend this apartment enough and look forward to returning..

Stylishly furnished by Natalie the owner, it has good decor & is very comfortable & well equipped. It’s kept sparklingly clean by Christina. Both ladies are very helpful & do everything they can to make your stay go well. It’s situated about 30 seconds from the beautiful Aberdaron beach, overlooking the river & bridge. The patio outside is a private sun trap with outdoor furniture.I can’t recommend it highly enough. Everyone in the village is welcoming. Try it! You won’t be disappointed.

  • "The accommodation was beautiful, clean and very well presented."

It felt bigger than what I expected from the pictures. Location was amazing, it really made a huge difference being able to walk 1 minute onto the beach and have the shops and bars/cafes so handy. Only downside was the utility door from the chip shop that would make the whole apartment shake when it slammed. This could happen as late as 10.30/11.00 pm. The other noise from the shop below was minimal and no problem at all. Overall we were really pleased with the holiday and would absolutely come back and recommend to friends and family.

It is situated in the village of Aberdaron with easy access to both the beach and coastal path making it easy to explore the area without needing to move the car! Two pubs nearby providing good food and beer after a long walk, that is if you can make it past the chip shop below the apartment without succumbing to temptation. I will be booking this again should we return to the area.
