  • "We had such a lovely week staying here."

    It is our second stay and everything still looks exactly as advertised in the photos and everything felt clean and comfortable. We enjoyed seeing the animals close by and everything we wanted to do on the island was only a short drive away. Great communication from the hosts as well. We’ll definitely be back!

  • "The cottage has everything you could want with a designated parking area."

    It is spacious, tidy and clean. The beds and overall comfort are good. Smart TV's in the lounge and both bedrooms. It is in a working farm though this was not a problem. We had an issue on arrival with the CH which was quickly remedied by Elin the following morning, very pleasant helpful owners. Whichever way you approach the property involves fairly narrow country lanes, although it has good access to the A5/55 enabling easy access to all other parts of the island. We would certainly stay there again.

  • "This stable conversion property was simply superb !"

    !! It had every utensil you could think of in the kitchen to make it a perfect short or long stay without having to go and get anything, even dishwasher tabs and washing up liquid and foil.The conversion of the property was so beautifully done and the cleanliness was first rate and as for the beds WOW they were the most comfy beds we have slept in for years ! And the cherry on the cake was the lovely log burner which our dog just loved lying infront of after a long run on the beach

  • "Beautiful, peaceful accommodation."

    We had a lovely time. My only critism is that Sykes did not respond to an email I sent with some questions before our stay so I called the owner who was very helpful and answered all my questions. However, the cottage was lovely and in an idyllic spot.

  • "Very clever how the outside retains its barn feel even our cottage had its original features , inside you step into a world of luxury , so clean , everything you need to prepare meals , but ample places near to eat , the log burner not needed in June would no doubt keep the place cosy , the robes very welcome , hot tub as well , this time we did not book , our dog loved the low windows upstairs , two luxury bedrooms , just two of us difficult to choose , everything well appointed , would I return oh yes , and would i recommend definitely ."

  • "Lovely accommodation, especially like the log burner, very quiet, warm, well equipped."

    Also very clean. Only one thing I would mentioned is the mattress in the room with the smaller double - definitely needs changing, we had a child in this room, and when I sat on the bed the mattress had no support and was all springs. The mattress in the other bedroom with the king size that zips into twins was fine, although a little on the hard side. We didn’t cook in the accommodation as we were there for a long weekend and ate out. But everything seems well equipped.

  • "Stabal is a truly exceptional property to stay in."

    Very well equipped & comfortable as well as beautiful. It seemed to us that every need was met. The three holiday rentals on that row all look stunning. Very good internet service, lovely bathrooms everything clean & sparkling. The area is peaceful countryside with lovely beaches nearby. On arrival we were met by a beautiful gentle Collie, guardian of the farm, watching over the cows & free range hens. A truly wonderful place to stay & we will certainly be back.

  • "We have had the most wonderful stay at Stabal and can’t wait to return."

    The cottage has been converted beautifully and had everything we needed. It’s location was excellent for exploring Anglesey and was true to its description. Our 6-year old loved it that much that she couldn’t wait to get back at the end of the day, as a result we returned most days for our evening meal (thanks for the holiday haha)! My only niggle was the mattress on one of the beds had quite an obvious sag but it had little impact on the quality of our stay. Would recommend without hesitation. Thank you,

    There is an enclosed garden but it is shared with other guests. The cottage is beautiful, comfortable and in a lovely countryside location, a credit to the owners.

  • "We had a wonderful stay at Stabal."

    The cottage was gorgeous (I don’t think the pictures fully do it justice!) and we very much enjoyed exploring the local area. The owners made sure we had access to everything we could possibly need - even an high chair with very little notice! Our 1 year old absolutely loved seeing the animals on the farm nearby and meeting the owner’s sheepdog. The hot tub was the perfect treat for us all to relax after busy days out and about too. Our son even went for a little ‘swim’ in the mornings which was great!! Thank you for a perfect weekend, we would 100% recommend and hope to come back sometime soon.

  • "The property was beautiful!"

    Set in such a quiet location and such a cosy yet modern place! It had all the amenities you’d need and the finish was just gorgeous. Literally every room was fabulous! We loved the odd call from our neighbours (the cows) and the lovely little kittens running about! We particularly loved the welcome every time we stepped outside from the gorgeous dog too! It was an easy property to find and was only a 15 minute drive out to local towns etc. Overall we absolutely loved our stay and didn’t want to leave!

Nestled in Ty Croes near Rhoseneigr, Angelsey, Stabal is the end-terrace of one of three beautiful converted barn cottages.

Stabal is perfect for a family break or a group getaway, with one super king-size zip/link (can be twin on request) and one double, sleeping up to four guests in a stunning countryside setting.

The cottage has two dedicated spaces in a private car park and an impressive, traditional stone exterior, whilst the interior offers a minimal, contemporary setting; inside you will find a fully-equipped kitchen to rustle up a morning fry-up before a big day out, as well as a sitting room with a woodburning stove and Smart TV for a relaxing film night.

The handy cloakroom with WC and basin also offers space for storing muddy boots.

Heading upstairs, Stabal has two bedrooms, each with a king-size bed that is zip/link with storage space for your belongings, whilst the bathroom is perfect for unwinding after a busy day, whether that's a soak in the tub or a shower before wrapping yourself in a warm towel fresh off the heated towel rail.

Catch the last glimpse of sun in the shared rear patio or spend the early hours of the morning here with a steaming cup of coffee.

Rhosneigr is a short journey away from Stabal , where you can enjoy a meal out at one of the local eateries or pubs, take a stroll along Rhosneigr beach or follow a coastal path to explore more of the island.

Sitting in the north of Anglesey is Holyhead, a busy ferry port dating back to 450AD and boasting incredible views.

There are Roman ruins, prehistoric sites and more impressive coastal walks that are perfect for bird watching.

Heading off the island, Caernarfon is a fabulous town well worth a visit; home to Wales' most famous castle and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, narrow cobbled streets, Roman ruins and Galeri, where you will find contemporary arts, theatre and cinema.

Whilst you enjoy the mountains, beaches and countryside of Anglesey, Stabal is the perfect property to call home.

The popular seaside village of Rhosneigr is situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey, famous for its spectacular cliffs and magnificent sandy beaches. The village has a varied history including a 6th century church, tales of smugglers, famous off-shore shipwrecks and from the Edwardian era it has been a fashionable holiday destination. Today it is known for its magnificent beaches and renowned watersports, providing some of the best windsurfing and kitesurfing in the UK, with tuition available in the village. Activities include fishing, sailing, sand yachting, wreck diving, golf and hours of family fun on the enormous sandy beaches. There are several pubs, restaurants and shops in the village, with the market towns of Llangefni and Holyhead (starting point for day trips to Dublin), and the city of Bangor within easy travelling distance. Rhosneigr is located near to RAF Valley, famed for Prince William's Air Sea Rescue training base. Also close by is the Anglesey Race Circuit, great for lovers of car and motorbike racing, while on the island you will find Pili Palas Butterfly Farm, Anglesey Sea Zoo and Beaumaris Castle. Boat trips around Puffin Island offer the chance to see nesting puffins and guillemots, or cross to the mainland and enjoy Victorian Llandudno’s shopping, restaurants and dry ski slope, Snowdonia mountains and the beaches of the Llyn Peninsula.
