  • "Very comfortable, well-equipped accommodation in a great little resort."

We hadn't noticed the advertised late check-in time, so were pleased that Elen had the apartment ready for us by 3.30. It was a great base for exploring the whole of the Lleyn peninsula which is a perfect holiday destination.

  • "Excellent cottage with sea and castle views, a short walk to the shops."

The flat has everything we needed for a relaxing holiday with parking directly outside the flat no problem all week. We had trips to Llandudno, Betws-y-coed, Caernarfon, and really enjoyed the castle at Criccieth and the beaches. The pitch and putt in the park was great fun and only £10 for a family of four. We will definitely be back.

  • "The apartment is just off the beachfront in Criccieth with views down to the sea out of the front and Criccieth castle from the kitchen."

The lounge and master bedroom are spacious and comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. It is a great base for activities around the Llŷn peninsula and Snowdonia, being around 45 minutes from Llanberis and one of the Snowdon ascents, closer to an hour for some other routes. There is also a great beginner hike up Moel-Y-Gest around 10 minutes away. We had a great time walking the incredible scenery around Snowdonia and always looked forward to relaxing back at the apartment after a long day. Thoroughly recommend.

  • "Lovely relaxing stay in a beautiful location; beach and Criccieth Castle literally a stones throw away (and there are plenty of stones to choose from) and all other facilities (shops, pubs and lots of food offers) in short walking distance (although some inclines to negotiate); some great walks nearby, direct from the end of the road, and Porthmadog and Portmerion are just a short drive from the accomodation."

Only 45-50 ish minutes to Snowdon if you fancy the mountains, with an awe inspiring drive through Llanberis Pass in the low mist (although I would recommend the longer route via main roads and Caenarfon if you/ your wife/ husband are of a nervous disposition!) Our second stay here and would definitely go back..Loved it!!

One of the very few S/c properties we have used where recycling was made easily available. Excellent kitchen appliances, ( if like me you prefer to cook) practical and comfortable apartment. Very quiet location and with easy access to the town and beaches. Plenty of free street parking close by. The only disadvantage is 2 flights of stairs which is fine if you are fit!

Great size for 4 people. Kitchen had everything we needed. Plus it was lovely and warm too. We didn't like was the ladder on the bunk bed. My son said it was very uncomfortable to climb; also it is very short so you have to jump down from quite high up. Also, the small bedroom lacked storage - the toy chest does not equate to a chest of drawers plus it was broken. This room definitely needs new storage as we were unable to unpack our small cases.

  • "Been to North Wales lots of times over the years, but never managed to make it to Criccieth; what a lovely little town."

Will definitely go back some time. The apartment was well equipped and beautifully situated just a couple of minutes walk to Marine Beach and a short stroll to Criccieth Castle, which is also visible from the bedroom window and kitchen. Chip shop, pubs and the local shop just a 10 minute walk away and a nice coastal walk on offer if you head in the opposite direction. The accommodation is well presented and cosy - the kids loved it, but the weather was pretty kind to us! Only thing I would add is that out of main holiday season everything shuts down for a couple of hours between 2pm and 5pm so if you are planning eating out factor that in to your agenda. Also the cashpoint seems to be permanently broken - you can get cash as the Post Office if all else fails.

Perfect for Snowdon, Portmerion, Llyn Peninsula. Flat was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Looking at past reviews, the flat now has a cheese grater and the mattresses were spring, not memory foam (shame, really - MF rules but it is divisive...). They obviously act upon reviews and are constantly improving, which is great. So here is one for you guys: there was no soap in the bathroom or kitchen and only half a toilet roll. Luckily we'd brought both but generally we'd find these included in the 'basics' from AirBnB and Booking. The other thing is that a prior tenant has completely destroyed the wok, which was rendered unusable (got pics if you want me to send them to you), which meant there was no non-stick pan of any kind (hard to fry anything without these). Let me reiterate that the above weren't big things/obstacles and would definitely and highly recommend the place.
