  • "The apartment is very well appointed and comfortable."

    It is only 1/2 mile from the beach etc area and a flat walk. The food package and fresh flowers is a much appreciated touch. The owner is very helpful and attentive without being intrusive. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment particularly for couples or a foursome. A great place.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Awel y Mor."

    The apartment is immaculate and so comfortable. Allyson the owner was very attentive and made sure everything was to our liking and left a lovely welcome basket. Trearddur is a lovely beach consisting of lots of little coves, the main beach perfect for all types of beach activities and is within a short walk from the apartment. Anglesey itself is beautiful with plenty to see and do. It was our first visit and we will be back. Thank you Allyson.

  • "WOW!! This apartment is just perfect for two"

    . The attention to detail is extraordinary, everything matches ie 6 matching mugs & plates etc. this is important to me as it shows how much a Host cares, & Allyson really does. Everything has been thought of and the level of cleanliness is top notch. The added extra is the Welcome basket, AMAZING!! We will be back, no question.   • "We had a lovely time."

    The flat was very comfortable and very well fitted out - and lots of goodies were left for us, including champagne in the fridge! Allison made contact with us to ensure that all was well. We are thinking of coming back in the Autumn.

  • "We have just had the pleasure of spending an enjoyable four nights at Awel-y-Mor."

    The newly refurbished apartment is spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for your stay and the very generous welcome hamper allowed us to make use of the facilities immediately, thank you. The apartments have a communal car park, and we were always able to park very near to the accommodation. Allyson, the owner is friendly and welcoming, she has thought of everything and is only a phone call away should you have any queries. Being only a short stroll away from everything that Trearddur Bay has to offer, including the fantastic beach, I thoroughly recommend Awel-y-Mor.

TREARDDUR BAY

Holyhead 2 miles.

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!
