  • "Beautiful cottage!"

The picture and write up don't do it justice. We had a wonderful few days there, a real home from home. There was nothing we could of criticized, couldn't recommend it highly enough! Great location, everywhere we wanted to visit was a 30 minute or less drive away. Will definitely look to book again next time we visit Wales.

  • "Lovely property in a stunning and quiet location."

Having the hot tub was an absolute bonus and we enjoyed it alot. My only fault was the slightly wobbly bed upstairs and the mattress was a little hard for my liking but I did sleep well each night just a little back ache in the morning. But over all a wonderful stay and would highly recommend and will hopefully book again :)

  • "We had such a lovely break in Wales at Rhoslyn it left us wondering why we’ve never been before and we will definitely be back ."

We had a couple of issues with the hot tub and and contact was made with the housekeeper-she came immediately to sort the issue and was very apologetic. If I had one small issue to report there aren’t any oven trays to bake on -we were able to manage by using something else but it would be really handy if there were a couple in the kitchen . All in all we had a wonderful break -Rhoslyn is well placed for visiting North wales -We did the Zipline at penrhyn quarry , climbed Snowdon , visited Aber falls and a lovely walk to swallow falls and Betsy -coed . Planning to visit again soon and will likely book Rhoslyn again -Thankyou for a wonderful stay

  • "A beautiful and spacious cottage which is very tastefully and comfortably furnished."

Super cosy living room with comfy sofa and a gorgeous log burner, big kitchen diner with everything you need. 2 very relaxing bedrooms. The bathroom is stunning! Hot tub is wonderful, and surprisingly private for a terraced property with a small garden. Welcome pack of crisps & Prosecco gratefully received. There’s a handy information folder and plenty of literature to read about the local area/attractions. It’s a good quiet central location for exploring snowdonia, the llyn peninsula and Anglesey. The only potential stumbling block is the parking, it’s extremely tight and you’ll need to be a proficient parallel parker! If you have more than one vehicle like we did or a particularly large car then you could struggle. Having said that, we managed but it’s certainly something to consider. All in all it’s a really great cottage!

  • "Perfect short break away to relax and unwind."

That’s a short drive from the National park. We would recommend that the Hot Tub has a service as it said the filter needed changing and after the first session of the bubbles it didn’t stay on long enough without cutting out.

  • "Disappointing!"

We was really looking forward to this stay as the cottage looked lovely & it was! No complaints apart from the hot tub…..we had issues with it on all 3 nights of our stay & logged this with the owners on all 3 nights! The jets had an auto cut off after 30mins which is fine but every time we pressed them back on after the initial 30mins they would only stay on for literally 1min at a time! This was very annoying as we couldn’t just lie back & relax! After complaining the 2nd night the owners said they’d send someone round to look at it, they didn’t! Having paid a premium rate for a place with a hot tub & only getting 30mins per night really isn’t good enough! Having complained on our arrival home again about this, we have basically been told that since our departure the hot tub has been checked & no issues found & therefore they will not refund us any money! We have basically been made out to be liars! £400 down the drain! Very frustrating, annoying & disappointing to say the least!!

The pictures online barely do it justice! On arrival the cottage was immaculate and the hot tub was ready to be used straight away which was brilliant! We stayed in February and I was really looking forward to lightning the log burner but in fact we didn’t even need it as the heating kept us very cosy! The kitchen was really well equipped and they even had a cupboard full of games for those rainy days (of which we had a few!) The owners seem like really lovely people, I had a query about the recycling to which they replied straight away which was nice to know if you had any issues they are more than happy to help. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning a return trip in the summer, if your unsure about booking then this is your sign to do it - you won’t regret it!! Did I mention the cottage is beautiful?! Jason and Joanna (owners) and the house keepers (mother and daughter whose names I’m annoyed I can’t remember! Sorry) are just so so lovely, helpful and nothing is too much trouble - also the beach recommendation (Borth Y Gest) was a great shout! Having the hot tub to relax in of an evening just topped things off, also because there is no light pollution, star gazing from the tub is magical. Neighbours are super helpful and lovely, including the cows on the front doorstep and the sheep in the back :) I will be sharing this cottage on my social media because as much as I’d like to keep it as a personal secret, I think everyone needs to know about it and experience it (not until I’ve booked again tho!!).
