"We had a great stay."
The property was close to all the amenities and a stones throw from the castle. It was a lovely comfortable house to stay in, the living room was spacious and the bedrooms were very roomy too.
Its in a prime location to all attractions.

Excellent location for exploring Conwy and a wonderful park on the doorstep for walking the dogs. No issues at all with parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back

"A lovely cottage."
Extremely clean & comfortable. Within walking distance of Conwy Castle, shops & cafes. The park is close by with play park & an area to exercise dogs. Conwy is a very dog friendly town.
Public transport in the area is very good.

"Had an enjoyable stay, found the cottage very clean, and comfortable, home from home atmosphere,loved that there was a corner shop where we could go, and a lovely fish and chip shop, all within 30seconds walk ."
Only takes 10mins to walk into Conwy ,where there are many restaurants to eat and coffee shops, there is a renowned butchers ( Edward’s) , lots of shops, a lovely baker. Cobbled streets and a beautiful quay.
Can get a tourist red bus that takes you around Conwy Deganwy and Llandudno, hop of hop on.also a train station in Conwy which can take you to Anglesey or Chester and London, check the timetable ( Liverpool etc)
The cottage is well maintained, with a little back yard.
But for dog lovers like me as I have two dogs, there is a large park to take them for a good run .. just by the shop.. lots of coffee shops and restaurants in conwy allow dogs , which is good.
By the park is also a playground with swings etc

"We had a wonderful stay at Bryn Hyfryd cottage!"
The cottage was very cosy and comfortable during our stay. The big king bed in the master is so comfortable - we had the best sleep we’ve had in months! We had our dog with us and the house was set-up well for her, theres a small grass area just outside the house and a big park at the bottom of the road - the location is perfect!
Conwy is a great town itself with lots of fantastic places to eat and lovely little shops! Where else do you have a castle, mountain, woodlands and beach all within walking distance? Theres easy transport to surrounding towns and villages to explore also. We had a great time exploring the local areas!
The house is very conveniently placed, a short walk into the town centre, a little shop, a park and a chippy at the bottom of the road. Parking was easy.
We would come back and will recommend the cottage to friends planning a trip to the area!

"On arrival at 4pm the house was stone cold."
We had sit with our coats on for several hours while it warmed up. The welcome pack was small packs of out of date biscuits. The photos on Sykes flattered reality. Our overall impression was a house furnished from charity shops. The large footstool in the living room was badly stained. I have listed below the main things we found unsatisfactory.
Poor quality towels
No heating in the kitchen
Poor lighting
Cheap cutlery
Television too high on wall with ceiling light obscuring the view
Massive BLACK fridge freezer in the dining room.
On cold wet winter day you want to return to a cosy, welcoming place.
We stayed out as long as possible because it so depressing.
This house is not of the standard required for a winter break. Compared to other places we have been to in winter this house is overpriced.
We are so sorry to hear that the cottage was cold on your arrival and that you had ongoing problems with the heating. Had you let Sykes or ourselves know about this during your stay we would have attended to the issue straight away.
Unbeknown to us there was a fault with the thermostat which has now been replaced and is in good working order.

Lovely walk into Conwy itself and also central to plenty of days out, whether beaches or inland. No trouble parking near the property. Would highly recommend a stay here.

"The cottage was great."
It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well fitted out. The bedrooms were good sizes, and the bed in the main bedroom was really good. (Perhaps a chest of drawers in the main bedroom would be useful) Overall we enjoyed our stay in Conwy very much.

"Everything was very convenient and as described in the details."
The house has recently been refurbished so everything felt fresh and new. The area is within walking distance of Conwy. There is a shop and a free car park very close by. Thicker towels would have been nice, but that’s the only negative. We enjoyed our stay.
