  • "Accommodation amazing."

Only negative is confusion around parking and how to gain access for each accommodation. People tried to gain access to the place we were staying in. Small issue with not enough hand towels and bath mat. We loved the place, very quirky and spacious.

  • "Very comfortable and spacious property, liked the historic touches."

Excellent chip shop nearby! Would have appreciated a hairdryer and shaver sockets but minor niggles - would stay again quite happily! Thank you

  • "As none of us were under 70 we found the steps down to the bathroom and bed without a grab rail quite daunting Also the dogs we took are small and one slipped down the first wooden steps as to her they were slippy on the nails."

Its to accommodate 6 people but the couches only sat 5 ? Nowhere in the bathroom for toiletries. Also the flooring in the main was quite noisy even though we all wore slippers. In the brochure all looked great in reality I think it’s the worst place we have been in in Sykes Property’s

  • "House was lovely and had generous sized rooms."

Comfortable seating. Only used master bedroom - bed very comfortable. We’re a few niggles for us:- Bath was odd with the plug in the middle - not comfortable for laying in and when you did, the plug kept popping up. Could do with blackout blinds/curtains- very bright in the bedrooms with just the white blinds. Some of the cutlery and glasses were dirty - but nice to have a do dishwasher so we washed everything before using it. Kept banging head on cooker hood - we are both tall (5’ 11” and 6’4”) so maybe not an issue if shorter. House was somewhere we would like to stay shin but sadly we were not huge fans of the immediate area so would probably stay outside of Holyhead if we returned.

  • "A beautiful house, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, good quality pans and utensils [you can cook an egg without it sticking]."

Huge tv’s in each bedroom, I know it’s not all about the tv’s but when your teenage child comes on holiday with you he doesn’t want to watch Emmerdale, he wants to play on his playstation and chat to his friends. I’ve always wondered about the heating in old churches, not a problem it was alway lovely and warm. MacDonalds, KFC, Morrison’s, Tesco and a small Asda are less then 5 minute drive away. All in all fabulous

  • "Thank you for preparing and presenting The School House."

Very high spec and extremely well looked after and clean. It’s an enormous spacious property and would easily accommodate 6 people. The property has everything you could need, especially in the lovely well equipped kitchen. Fantastic that we’ll behaved dogs are allowed in this high spec property! Situated right in the middle of Holyhead with shops, cafes, pubs and the sea front all near by. The only thing that is missing was the lack of shelves in both bathrooms, making it difficult to store anything in them. Fantastic property and will definitely be visiting again

Thanks David, Glad you enjoyed & you and family & dogs are more than welcome anytime! KR EB Property Owner

  • "The inside of the property is high end luxury."

Beautifuly finished to a very high standard. Televisions in all the bedrooms were brilliant, bathrooms were lovely. Bedrooms could have improved with curtains as the blinds did not prevent the light every morning. The kitchen was excellent, but would have appreciated big mugs as the cups provided were very small. The property is very large inside and provided ample space for five of us. The property has only recently been finished and everything was brand new, it was beautiful but would recommend some more homely touches such as board games, books, pen and paper etc. The location was ok for exploring Anglelsey as we travelled outside of Holyhead. As there is no garden, a small table and chairs would have been nice outside the small private front of the property.

Hi Laura Thanks for you nice feedback it’s always appreciated- good call with the games this was in the to do list and hopefully if you return will be available for you! KR EB Property Owner

About the location

HOLYHEAD

Trearddur Bay 3 miles.

The bustling town of Holyhead rests on the North West coast of the Isle of Anglesey, the largest town on the island and perhaps known best for being the main ferry port to Ireland. Steeped in history, the town boasts the remains of Roman town walls and forts, medieval burial chambers and stone village foundations. Explore the Breakwater Country Park, a former quarry, which offers designated walks through the grounds. The park is full of interesting wildlife, most notably the seals who visit the Holyhead coast, and outlines the amazing construction of the world's longest breakwater, some 1.8 miles, which today protects the harbour. Visit the colourful marina with its yachts and tall ships, or the town's maritime museum, with its tales of 100 shipwrecks in the vicinity. Day trips to Ireland can be enjoyed easily from here, with Dublin just 90 minutes away on the fast ferry. With spectacular cliff top walks over Holyhead Mountain, golden sandy beaches at the award winning Trearddur Bay and the Snowdonia National Park just a 20 minute drive away, this is a superb holiday location, at any time of the year.
