"This was our second stay in 40 Lloyd Street West and we enjoyed it as much as the first time in May."
Great location for walking along the West Shore and into llandudno for the shops and promenade. Had several trips out and about and frequent visits to the lovely bakery in Conwy. Food good in the local chinese on Victoria Road too. The house is comfortable, clean and well maintained. Will definitely be booking again love Llandudno, thanks again x

"We have stayed at this property previously so we knew what to expect with ..."
We have stayed at this property previously so we knew what to expect with regards to the Spec the only comment concerned outside the path would benefit from weed clearing and the key box is extremely difficult to open but on the whole we enjoyed our stay and the weather was very good

"Great place to stay, everything you would need."
Easy access to Resorts on the Welsh coastline via A55

"Hi this is the worst holiday home we have stayed in,the reason I say this is No leaflets for out and about,no leaflets on food places to eat in or takeaway, No instructions for the cooker, No instructions for the wi-fi , Not even visitor book ,This was a very Disappointing Holiday compared to all the holidays we have had through Sykes , Sorry but won't recommend this holiday home."
Mr Carter we are very sorry but the previous guests children took our folder that we leave for our guests , we obviously got in touch with them and they have sent it back to us , we can only apologise . On reflection we should have called round and left our contact details which we usually do for guests if they need any help or information.Apologies again Angela Rudge Owner Property Owner

"We had a lovely stay at this property."
From the moment you walk in, you can see the house is well cared for and maintained. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and has everything you could need during your stay. Great location (which we already knew when booking). There were just 2 things that I wanted to raise. Firstly, I tried for numerous days leading up to our stay to phone the property contact details that were given on the booking confirmation to ask a few questions that I couldn’t find the answer to in the write up. I left numerous polite voicemails and rang at different times but no one ever got back to me. I felt a bit ignored as a paying customer. I did notice that the contact details at the property itself were different to those given at the time of booking. Secondly, the house does not have restrictors on the upstairs windows. This particularly worried me because the children’s bunk bed is right against the window and it can open fully wide with no restrictions. I had to tell my children not to touch the windows and I didn’t dare have theirs open for fresh air at all whilst we were in. All in all we would recommend this properly and return to it. The welcome hamper was a very thoughtful and appreciated gesture, thank you.

"Another wonderful stay."
The house is always clean and beautiful a place you can instantly relax in.
-
"Lovely quiet location, very close to beach and within walking distance of centre of Llandudno and other attractions."
Property was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The generous welcome pack was much appreciated. Would definitely book again if visiting Llandudno.

"Our second visit to this property."
Comfortable and well equipped and in a great position to explore Llandudno.
-
"We had a lovely holiday in this property as we have done for the two previous years."
Unfortunately due to our age and ability we struggled with the stairs, so won't be returning unfortunately. It's a perfect property and in such a lovely, quiet location with walks to the beach five minutes away. There is also a nice little cafe and plenty of free parking outside it. Gill and Geoff Cash

"We enjoyed our stay at 40 Lloyd Street West."
The property was clean, comfortable and well equipped (though surprisingly no oven gloves). The car park space was very helpful as we have been in other Llandudno properties where it has been difficult to park. It is within a few minutes walk of the West Shore and a straightforward level though longer walk to the town centre and North Shore ( there is a bus service but we walked and we are in our 70s). Thank you for a lovely short break.
-
"Great property, fantastic location, clean and well maintained."
Loved the welcome pack, thank you. Property is located so close to the West Shore beach so we had plenty of long strolls from one end of the promenade to the other. If you dont want the worry of finding a parking space on your travels then use the bus service. We caught the Arriva bus from the Rabbit monument on the West shore and for £4 day ticket you can travel anywhere, up the Gt Orme, Conwy, Bangor and Caernarfon , or Rhyl Prestatyn etc even into Angelsey. Information about bus times go to tourist info. We had a lovely week see you next year xx
-
"Property is in a good location, parking directly outside."
Clean and well presented, with everything you need provided. Welcome pack a nice touch. Owner obviously takes pride in the property. Short walk into the centre of Llandudno where there are plenty of cafes and restaurants. West Shore beach 2 minutes away. A walk up to the top of the Great Orme definitely recommended.

"A little gem!"
The house was comfortable and warm, in a quiet area not too far from LLandudno itself. We had a great week, helped by the sunny weather, with most of our walks straight from the door. Thankyou for the lovely cakes and prosecco and the beautiful daffodils. I'm sure we'll be back.
-
"Amazingly comfortable and inviting house in close proximity to beach and shops!"
Owner was very accomodating and even left out milk and some cakes when we arrived! Thank you very much we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again!
-
"Lovely cottage found the stairs a little problem as I am partially disabled a bannister rail on the opposite wall would have been a great help."
Other wise top marks Welsh cakes and bara birth lovely and bottle of prosecco.. Top marks and I would certainly recommend this property.
-
"We loved it here and stayed last year, so looking back to coming again."
We had a lovely welcome gift on arrival, which we really enjoyed. The owner was very helpful, as we had a problem with our car and she allowed us to stay another two nights, as it wasn't booked out then. There was no guest book, so we were unable to leave our thoughts and thanks. Gill and Geoff Cash

"We had a wonderful stay in a very clean house in an amazing location"
-
"Very clean and comfortable house a short distance from West Shore."
The house is well stocked with crockery etc. Beds are comfortable with lovely bedlinen. There was a problem with the TV aerial when we arrived but after a quick call a workman arrived a day later and renewed the aerial. No problems after that. House is in a quiet residential area and makes a good base for sightseeing
-
"Great location, well furnished, no issues with any of the furniture or fittings, only downside was that the tv was naff, did not bother us as we had plenty of books to read."
Would definitely book again.
-
"The property was clean but the mirrors on the wardrobes were very dirty."
The ladders on the bunk bed were loose. When we arrived there was a purple frozen bottle of water in the freezer. When we were leaving and checked the freezer the bottle was not there. We presume that someone had been in When we had gone out. The property was brilliant and only 5 minutes to the beach and 10 minutes to the town. We never had to use the car once.
-
"Beautifully clean and wholesome property."
Great to have a reserved parking space. Within easy stroll to the beach at West Shore, a lovely place for sunsets. Negatives: Problem with the TV. Probably a fault with the aerial connection. Loss of sound and pixillating. Double bed is saggy on the side near the window. We would return to this property.
-
"The only (minor) negative we had about the property was the sofa had had the legs removed and so it was very low and this wasn't ideal as I have some trouble with my leg."
It is such a minor complaint but just thought it needed to be pointed out. I must stress that this didn't spoil the holiday at all. The accommodation was absolutely brilliant! It was beautifully decorated and it was well maintained throughout. The beds were so comfortable. It met our needs perfectly. The location was great - we could go and play football or go for a walk along the West Shore and visit The Lilly. It wasn't too far into town as well, or great to drive to Conwy! We would highly recommend it and hope to visit again.
Hello James Firstly l would like to thank you for your very kind feedback for our property in West Shore and I will just explain that the sofa was broken by a previous guest and not reported to us and we only found out when the next guests checked in , so as a temporary fix our only option was to remove the sofa legs . We have a joiner booked in for this coming Monday to fix the underneath of the couch and return the legs as we have no guests booked in . Regards Angela Rudge Owner Property Owner

"Recently stayed 3 nights at this property and it was lovely."
Ideal getaway close to the beach and amenities Llandudno has to offer. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends. The property is excellent, it has everything you need, lovely decor and very clean.

"A lovely stay will use again."
. many thanks
-
"Had a wonderful stay, will definitely come again."
. The TV was a bit pants and not Smart but I don't watch a lot so not a massive issue...
-
"I honestly thought I'd left feedback already but I must have forgotten to hit send or something."
Anyway, we had a lovely time here back in December. The house was spotless and comfortable, and it was perfect for our needs as a base for visiting family in and around Llandudno. The welcome pack was a most welcome touch. We shall return, hopefully this summer. Thank you.

"We had a lovely stay at the property, well presented and lovely and clean."
Great location close to shops and amenities. Everything you need is provided at the property would definitely stay again!

"The location of the property is excellent with the added bonus of it's own parking space."
On arrival there was a strong smell of canibas outside which I queried with owner when I had to ask how on earth the TV worked. The lady called round and assured me that nobody smoked it that she knew of. Yet on walking around that area, the smell was quite prevalent on numerous occasions. The one BIG issue we had was the TV. The property is described as having a smart TV it doesn't , it has a small aging TV that only has a Now TV stick and relies on the internet which constantly dropped out. There is no Freeview , yet there is a TV Ariel and socket but these are unused. We resorted to buying an aerial lead to enable us to access Freeview and watch without interference. Sadly although there are lots of rave reviews for this house it didn't do it for us. The sofa was most uncomfortable as were the arm chairs and having to move the table and chairs out for each meal was a faff. On the plus side the bed pillows bedding and towels were excellent as was the welcome pack. The weather was glorious and with the sun shining the windows were so dirty and all the hand and finger prints on the mirrors upstairs were hard to ignore. The bedrooms need either blinds or nets as you have to dress with the curtains closed and a light on. Some mugs and glasses had not been left clean by previous occupants which was a shame. This was just our honest opinion and with a few changes to the furniture layout and a decent TV this could be a lovely holiday home.

"This is a lovely property in a great location."
The property had everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. The attention to detail is fantastic and the welcome pack with prosecco was a lovely touch. We would recommend this property and would love to return to this delightful property. Comfortable beds, quiet area, lovely touches made our stay there 10/10.
-
"It is a lovely home that the owners have, and you can tell it is well cared for, you feel at home as soon as you walk through the front door."
It's a great base for Llandudno and the surrounding areas and we hope to return again. Would definitely recommend this property. M Friend

"Once again a very comfortable break in your house by the sea."
Very convenient for beach and town. See you again soon,
-
"What a wonderful place and how you have designed it."
It's very comfortable and very warm place to stay. The welcome pack was a surprise and we all enjoyed all of it. Also to have a parking designated spot was utmost to enjoy the holiday and not to worry about parking the car. Easy distance to the town and local shop just across the main road. We will certainly be booking again.
-
"The property was in ideal location for us, house was very clean, had all the facilities we needed."
The only things that could be better was more info getting tv to work, and a more comfort on killer settee. Oner all very good
-
"This was a real treat staying in 40 Lloyd Street."
Comfortable and cosy - home from home. And at the end of trips out in the car, having a designated parking area was a real bonus. A nice touch with having a welcome pack too. A perfect place for us - Granzie, Grandpop and 9 year old grandson.
-
"The only downside with this holiday was the lack of pressure on the shower, which was quite difficult really."
The rest of the accommodation was perfect and very comfortable.
Thank you for your feedback , I am very sorry about the ongoing problem with the shower which we had tried to resolve by replacing the shower for a more powerful one but sadly this did still not resolve the issue , we closed the house for a week and our local plumbers replaced the whole tank to improve the water pressure to the shower , this now seems to have resolved the issue Angela Rudge (owner ) Property Owner

"The house is in a wonderful location with everything on your doorstep."
The house is very comfortable with most things available and the welcome pack was lovely thank you.The only let down for it would be the shower not being powerful enough so trying to wash the sea out of hair is a mare
-
"Your welcome pack was a lovely gesture and we were appreciative of your personal approach to your guests"
-
"Lovely and clean, good position for town and beach, fantastic welcome pack, much appreciated… Highly recommended!"
-
"Hi. We had a lovely stay in your holiday home."
It was very clean, nicely equipped and in a good location. We found it a great base for either exploring the area on foot or as a base for driving farther afield. We would stay again. Thanks.

"Excellent location, very comfortable and clean, Highly recommended"
-
"Excellent !"
Spotlessly clean & very comfortable .
-
"This was a very enjoyable comfortable stay, and the cleanliness was first class."
The welcome pack and roses were a pleasant surprise. The location is good for all local amenities, and the car parking area was a bonus. Would certainly want to visit again.
-
"Great holiday let."
Ideal location 5 min walk to beach to watch sunsets, brisk 10 mins to town and the other seafront. Exceptionally clean with a lovely welcome pack . Highly recommended. Only fly in ointment TV relies on Vodaphone internet and Vodaphone has a very poor reception area in LLandudno phones included. TV would cut out several time throughout a program. Having said that would still stay again.
-
"The house was spotless and beautiful in presentation and had a feeling of warmth and welcome on arrival true to the beautiful photos."
. Kitchen fabulously equipped. Owners had thought of everything including lots of cleaning supplies and bin bags. Beds very comfy and sofas and throws. Books and games and lovely flowers on arrival. Comfy, cosy, bright and airy. Parking outside and fabulous location. Beach just across the road and cafe and shop around the corner. Garden space clean and tidy outside. Contacted owners re WiFi and quick response. Smart TV ok although connection was intermittent and went down a few times which distressed my young child but not sure the owner could do much about this other than contact provider/ boost. A few previous guests had commented that the shower wasn't powerful enough and at times this was my experience but again nothing could be done unless the owners considered a power shower upgrade. The water was hot and the bathroom efficient and clean and towels soft and cosy. Welcome pack with bread milk yogurt and welshcakes very welcome. I contacted the owners upon leaving and they sent a lovely message back. We had a lovely stay. Such a beautifully presented house and spotless and so close to everything. Lovely. Highly highly recommend. Thankyou Angela and John for a fabulous place to stay.

"Definitely a WOW place to stay."
Everything you could need was provided. The standard of the accommodation was excellent. It was only a few minutes from the beach. Convenient for the buses to Conway and into Llandudno town centre. A thoughtful welcome pack of bread, cheese, milk, Welsh cakes and a bottle of Prosecco, was provided.
-
"Thank you! was really great, we were their with our kids and found that we were not advised with the rubbish collection dates and well as too little dustbins."
otherwise was amazing!!!!
-
"Very well situated with a 5 min walk to West Shore beach."
Very quiet & clean. Loved the welcome pack. The only garden was at the front which had been done lovely, however wasn’t very private as lots of people walking past.
-
"Perfect location."
Three minutes walk to sea front. Very quiet and peaceful area.
-
"The house was lovely and clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed."
The extra cleaning supplies provided were great. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of nice fluffy towels for our family of 4. The location is perfect with just a few minutes walk to the beach and 15 minutes walk to the town and pier. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Llandudno and will definitely return to this property. The welcome pack was wonderful with fresh milk, yoghurt, bread, Welsh cakes and even a bottle of prosecco. Can't wait to return!!!

About the location
LLANDUDNO
Conwy 4 miles, Colwyn Bay 6 miles, Snowdonia 20 miles.
Llandudno lies between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme and it is these headlands, and the town's two waterfronts, that give this tourist resort its special appeal. The town offers two superb beaches - the North Shore, with its wide promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels and the quieter West Shore with miles of sandy shoreline backed by sand dunes and superb views towards Anglesey. For the best views, however, you can reach the summit of the 679ft Great Orme using either the Great Orme Tramway or by taking an exciting cable car ride of over a mile. The town has an excellent selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as Venue Cymru, which is North Wales' premier theatrical stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy and visiting orchestras, boasting a programme that is second to none - all this is just a stone's throw from the promenade. Just 4 miles away is the town of Conwy - a designated World Heritage Site. A true medieval gem, Conwy is dominated by a splendid castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. Discover miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales coast and excellent walking and climbing in the Snowdonia National Park just 20 minutes' drive away - there's plenty to see and do!
