"Property not very clean very dusty."
Cooker extractor fan covered in dust and grease.Advertised with a king sized bed but only a double bed in the property.Handle missing on fridge door did not see a BBQ could not control heating and water in the property.Dog mess on lawn.A bit more attention to detail and the property would be nice.

"Had a lovely stay at Rhiw Afallen, would highly recommend."
Lots of activities to do and places to visit nearby, including being right next to the beach as well as in the middle of mountains. The cottage was very homely and comfortable, I would stay again!!

"Absolutely beautiful cottage and the perfect get away for my husband and I."
We were disappointed we couldn’t stay longer as we loved curling up on the sofa on an evening, log burner going and just relaxing in such a peaceful location. Loved all the additional touches for our arrival and not forgetting one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. Definitely recommend and we’ll definitely be back!

"This was one of the loveliest cottages we have stayed in for quite some time."
Very well equipped and nicely furnished. The owner greeted us when we arrived, complete with a small welcome pack of bread, milk, and eggs from their own chickens. The only negative point was the endless barking of a dog at a neighbouring property which went on and on and on all night meaning getting a good nights sleep was very difficult.

"A beautiful little cottage attached to the owners house."
the lounge was well furnished, the kitchen fully equipped, the beds comfortable.(but the duvet was too hot for us during the heatwave The bathroom was well laid out but there was no place to put a shower - just the handheld attachment in the bath which was rather narrow so that my husband who had had both hips replaced could not get to sit down. We both loved the little courtyard with rattan garden furniture - and a good outside light so that during the warm evenings we could sit outside and read,

"An amazing find and one of the most enjoyable short stays we have both had."
The property is beautiful, cosy and homely. The owner Martin gave us a warm welcome as we arrived, it is just a shame we had to leave. I would highly recommend, we will definitely be returning. The location is fantastic to explore snowdonia and its surroundings. Can’t wait to come back and stay again.

"An ideal choice, and everything we were hoping for, especially the chickens!"
Only one small problem - the drive to the cottage is off a fast main road, very narrow, and only a small name board, partly hidden be foliage. It's very difficult to find, even after several days, not helped by impatient Welsh drivers! Otherwise, a great holiday in every way.

"V.attractive warm, comfy characterful cottage, beautifully decorated, which was situated down a lane near a main road."
We needed to drive to eateries/ pubs;nothing within walking distance. Owners v welcoming, helpful & obliging.Well stocked welcome tray inc owners hens eggs, choc, bread,Welsh cakes,Barra bread, wine etc. No lids for saucepans & cooker hood light not working. Very low head beams & hand held shower with holder in bath, no shower curtain or screen, so luxurious bathroom floods when using.Need to walk through master bedroom upstairs to access bathroom.Locks not working on bathroom door, & landing c’board door. Downstairs bedroom door sticks & does not close. Can hear through adjoining door to owners property marked ‘ Private’ at times. Good to find 1st aid kit in kitchen & plenty of storage available. BBQ available on private patio area with lovely planting. Good value for money & situated in a beautiful setting.Overall a good experience.

"A lovely characterful cottage perfect for a relaxing break."
Spotlessly clean and very well equipped.

"Quiet location with good road access to the coast and Llyn peninsula."
Glynis and Martin were excellent hosts, friendly but unobtrusive, they made us feel very welcome. Their welcome pack was excellent as the shops are quite far away, and was thoughtfully put together. the cottage is cosy and modern and beautifully furnished. One drawback is the small double bed and hand held shower difficult to operate.

The cottage had lovely comfortable furnishings and was very clean and cosy. It was well equipped with everything we needed. A fabulous welcome tray of goodies awaited us when we arrived. Glynis and Martin were very welcoming and helpful. We appreciated the call from Glynis the day before our arrival to greet us and check if we had any questions. We would thoroughly recommend this cottage and the surrounding beautiful scenery. Thank you Glynis and Martin. Best Wishes, Eileen & Colin

Our hosts Glynis and Martin were very welcoming. It was lovely to get away after a winter of restrictions and give ourselves a change of scenery and this was certainly the place to do it.

"We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage."
Martin and Glynis were lovely hosts, made us feel very welcome.Lovely to talk to, asking what we had done and where we had been. We had all the essentials from the start and throughout our stay they were always making sure we still had everything we needed. We were left a lovely welcome pack, including lovely homemade welsh cakes, bread and more! The cottage was amazing and very cosy! A home from home! Not to mention the leaflet pack that helped plan our activities. The location was perfect to reach surrounding areas and attractions including Snowdon. Also 5min drive from the beach which was lovley to watch the sunset. Thankyou again and would definitely recommend. All the best, George and Jem :)

"We had a wonderful week in this lovely cottage."
Glynis and Martin were very welcoming hosts with nice touches such as home made Welsh cakes on arrival, and a bottle of fizz to sip outside on the patio. Very cozy cottage, perfect for a couple. Great situation for exploring the Lleyn Pennisula, Snowdonia and Anglesey. We enjoyed fresh eggs from the chickens. Just perfect for a post-lockdown trip!
