  • "Had a lovely stay at this great cottage."

Well located and extremely cosy, made all the better by the quality of the furnishings and the relative space the cottage provides. It is very well equipped and appreciated the finer details like the mugs. The heating is very easy and effective. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

  • "Only issue we had was that when we arrived at 4pm the house had not been cleaned."

Spoke with Sykes and the owner and they arranged someone to be at the property within a hour to have it cleaned. Owner apologetic and advised she would sort something out for the inconvienence but we never did get anything.

We were hugely sorry for your arrival experience, we would never wish for that to have happened. The cleaning team were at fault and we have since changed our cleaners. When I spoke with you on the phone about compensation you said you were using the house for work and not to worry as these things happen. I very sorry that you have since decided you want compensation. Please speak to Sykes as they are the booking agent. Kindest of regards. Property Owner

  • "Such a beautiful cottage."

Someone has really considered the decor here and the result is a beautiful, cosy and classy retreat. Very comfortable beds and sofas. Immaculate throughout. Stunning views. Handy location and parking. We truly did not want to leave! My only niggle, and it's tiny, is that the kitchen lacked a few things....I could not find a can opener, and some larger pans would have been really handy, as would a microwave maybe.....but other than that the attention to detail was fantastic.

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We are so thrilled you had a lovely stay. Thank you for feedback regarding the can opener, unfortunately it sounds as if it’s disappeared so we will replace that and we take note over some larger pans! We hope to see you again. Huge thanks Rhian & James Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely stay at 7 Tai Oakley."

We were perfectly placed to get to a lot of places we had planned to visit. It was lovely and peaceful with a great view. The house had everything we needed apart from (and I am being really picky. Sorry.) A measuring jug and a place for our food waste.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. We will definitely take on board the request for a measuring jug and will get one for when we are next there. We can only provide a main bin for all food waste as trying to ensure all guests put out the food waste bin on the correct collection days is too difficult. We hope to see you again! Property Owner

  • "We had a wonderful stay a 7 Tai Oakeley, with the cottage meeting all our needs."

It provided a great base to explore north Wales, and we would definitely book again! The beds were really comfortable and there was enough space for us a family of 5. Our younger children loved lying in bed watching tv and we found the sofa's so comfortable. Thanks so much for a great week!

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We are so pleased you enjoyed staying at our house and enjoyed this beautiful area of North Wales. We look forward to you staying here again. Huge thanks Rhian & James Property Owner

  • "It was a little small for 6 people."

Not enough to all sit on the sofas together or sit around the dining table which was a shame. One bathroom downstairs was also a little tricky. Also the back garden was a little bare with again just seating for 2. Otherwise a lovely place, clean, nicely decorated.

Thank you so much for your feedback and it is much appreciated. The house is restricted in size being an original miners cottage so putting a larger table and a 4 seater sofa in wasn’t possible. We have tried to create a balance by ensuring there are 2 fold away chairs to allow for more seating at the table. We have also been waiting to do more to the back garden including putting in a lockable shed for bike storage but winters in Ffestiniog can be challenging to do this so it is our summer project. Thank you for staying at the house though and we hope you enjoyed seeing this part of Wales. Kindest wishes Rhian & James Property Owner
