  • "Absolutely loved our stay, owners were contactable and attentive."

Super place to stay and thoroughly enjoyed the games room. Short ride to beautiful Lake Bala.

  • "We had a lovely time in the house and everything that was there was excellent."

It would have been nice to have had some some oven gloves, perhaps a tea pot and maybe more than three tumblers - there were shed loads of enormous wine glasses but nothing to drink juice, water or beer from. That is not supposed to be a complaint. We had a superb time and would recommend the house to anyone. When we weren't walking the dogs, we spent most of our time in the games room or sitting out on the decking.

  • "Absolutely fantastic ."

We are a family of 5 with 2 cockers. The dogs are very much welcome in this property, beautiful home from home with absolutely everything you need. The games room was a game changer and my teen boys spent a lot of time together laughing and joking and didn’t go on their Xbox’s ! My daughter had the en suite bedroom which she absolutely loved! We had the room which opens up on to the garden area with beautiful views. I was unsure of where we were allowed to walk in the surrounding fields etc so local information would be helpful as I was worried I would be trespassing. The washing machine wasn’t working but the owner organised an engineer to repair it asap and offered to do our washing in the mean time. It is very apparent that a lot of love and care has gone into this property and the facilities. I really didn’t want to leave and will definitely be coming back. I cannot recommend this property enough. Thank you for Sharing your wonderful house

  • "A high-spec, spacious and comfortable property."

Clean, light and very well equipped. We really appreciated the games room and enclosed garden (great for the dogs), comfy beds, great showers and a generous supply of crockery and the dishwasher. The property was very quiet and a great location as we were able to drive to Bala and the White Water Centre easily and Snowden within an hour. Being summer we would have preferred much thinner duvets but everything else was spot on.

  • "Fabulous property in a quiet area ideal for the lake at Bala and other places of interest, we were 6 adults 2 children 7 & 13 and an infant the nursery and bunk bed just perfect for our boys , we particularly loved the kitchen area which had plenty of storage and a large fridge (the freezer is in the games room) and the clever roof garden which affords lovely views of the hills , this is an attractive comfortable property and the owner is very friendly and helpful, we came for a quiet golden wedding celebration everyone enjoyed it the only downside?"

  • "We enjoyed a lovely week here with our extended family."

The house was well equipped and very clean and comfortable. The bonus was the games room in the garage, where we all enjoyed lots of games of pool and darts. Enough room for parking our 3 cars. We would definitely recommend this holiday cottage.

  • "Great property for a large family, we loved having a sofa in our master room & a tv ."

. you need that space away from the rest of the family , the wife found this a god send ! We were blown away by the location & scenery . Our master room led on to a raised secluded decking area. I honestly think our only gripe was the sky wanting a code to use apps like Netflix. I understand wanting to control the account but it’s quite restrictive if you would like to sign in to your own account. Everyone enjoyed a pool night , there’s a table in the garage that can also be used for table tennis . The kitchen had great facilities boasting a big double oven , large pantry & all the other usuals .

  • "Loved the property totally suited the family celebration for 17 -to 70 year olds."

The games room was a real hit as was the lounge with the big tv . The kitchen had every thing we needed and so much space for us all . The text with the link with all the info about the property , house keeping etc .. was great , but I do love a pack with the info and leaflets, and interesting stuff about the area ... Thank you

  • "No instruction manuals or information on local area such as nearest shops, takeaways, walks, attractions, emergency GPs, hospital and vets etc."

We struggled with trying to work the heating, didn't know how to work the underfloor heating and warm air system. Had to search to find the wifi password. Couldn't get regular channels on the tv in the kitchen such as bbc and itv. We didn't realize that the integrated fridge/freezer in the kitchen was actually a full size fridge and our frozen food thawed out. We found the freezer in the garage a couple of days into our stay. There weren't any pint or even half pint glasses for beers. There were 2 full loo rolls and 2 part loo rolls to last 5 days for 7 people, insufficient amount of dishwasher tablets to last for the duration of our stay, and no spare bin liners. The shower was cold Tuesday morning and by Wednesday morning there wasn't any hot water or heating in the house. A call to the owner was made and he was with us in half an hour, realized the oil had run out and went out to find some. He returned about an hour later with oil and the hot water and heating was restored but half a day of our holiday was wasted because of this. However, he was very prompt getting to us and set about rectifying the problem straightaway so credit given where it's due. Despite the downside, the property itself was very clean and tidy and very spacious, with quality modern fixtures and furnishings, loads of storage space, comfy beds, and with ample seating in the lounge and a large dining table to seat 8. We unfortunately didn't get to make use of the garden and admire the views because of the bad weather. The games room was a very welcomed asset given the amount of rain we had, and so were the washing machine and tumble dryer for all the muddy clothes! It is in a very quiet and peaceful village location, but is too in the middle of nowhere for us and a lot of driving had to be done to go anywhere decent. As a party, our recommendations would be to improve communications with guests and provide useful and essential information. More basic supplies would also be a massive help, especially with the lack of local shops you can't just nip out to stock up on basics like loo roll.

  • "Absolutely beautiful property."

Very clean and well maintained. A great space for a family holiday and location was good for the activities we had planned. Loved the games room. The kitchen was really well equipped and loads of space to gather round the table. On thing I would suggest is to have an information book for things like the wifi - had to do a bit of searching to get connected.

  • "Stunning property."

Took our dog on Holiday for the first time. The layout was perfect. Very secure. He loved it. The property has everything you could ever ask for and more. Every room is of the highest quality. The owners should be very proud. Took my parents, aged 81 and 85. They had the double room downstairs as Dad struggles with stairs, however, the steps to the garden were very accessible so we all spent most of the day in the garden. They loved it too. Fantastic property. Booked for next year already.

  • "House was extremely comfortable and beautifully furnished."

It was spotlessly clean. We were a group of 7 and there was plenty space. We loved the games room and the upstairs decking area, plus the use of a barbecue. The set up of the house gave lots of privacy and when the kids woke up early in the morning, we couldn't hear them playing downstairs, which was great. Cottage was 10 min drive to Bala lake which we loved and visited twice. Would love to come again sometime!
