  • "Lovely view of the sea."

Clean and well maintained property. Towels were lovely and soft but rather small. A pair of scissors in the kitchen would be useful. As mentioned in other reviews, the bathroom cabinet is too low, making it difficult to access the basin.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a great review. It sounds like you had a great stay with us! There should be a pair of scissors in the apartment, I will see that these are replaced this week. Hopefully we will see you again soon, Regards Jamie Stuart Property Owner

  • "A beautiful building that needs some tlc."

The communal area needed vacuuming. The apartment was clean. The bed was uncomfortable, the sheets didn't fit the mattress properly. The crockery was fine, but very limited glassware. We had no Internet during our stay, which did cause a problem. There was no Christmas decorations in the room which we found unusual in comparison to other places we have stayed in over Christmas. The position of the apartment was lovely, which was the main reason for booking.

Im sorry to see such a low review score for your stay with us. The communal areas are cleaned weekly, the building was completely refurbished just 3 years ago and is in great condition. Im sorry to hear that you found the mattress to be uncomfortable. Mattresses are a very personal preference, we have chosen a medium bounce mattress in the hope that it is comfortable for both those who enjoy a firmer and softer bed. Christmas decorations are hung in the main foyer, running up the stairs, including a tree, with fairy lights lighting the way up to the staircase. This gave a cosy, welcoming, & christmasy feel as you enter the property. If you need any extra glassware during your stay, we do ask that you mention it to a member of our team who would be happy to provide these for you. The internet was down due the storm that hit the area. It was not a fault with the property WIFI system, it was an issue that BT had to rectify on their end. Once again I apologise, but this was out of our control. Regards Jamie Stuart Property Owner

  • "Excellent location, the one-bedroom apartment spacious enough to feel relaxed and comfortable there."

Enjoyed being able to breakfast looking out to the sea. Appreciated having decently supplied kitchen crockery and utensils available, although we didn’t cook meals there. Similarly a good sized bedroom at the back and an adequate bathroom. In essence we enjoyed our time here. Nb: The only small issue we had with the property was with the placing of the bathroom cabinet, it was set too low above the washbasin to avoid banging your head when cleaning your teeth. Major security issue for owner and agency: someone kept the front door propped open with the fire extinguisher every day, despite us removing it. This was a concern as it meant the property was open to anyone passing by .

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. It sounds like you had a lovely stay, I hope you managed to catch sight of the dolphins and seals splashing in the bay. We noticed the front door being left open, too. It should remain on its designated hanger in the hallway at all times. Regards Jamie Stuart Property Owner
