The only slight niggle would be the shower lacks a bit of power. I realise this would be difficult as it's fed from a local source & it's fairly remote location.

A wonderful cottage in a quite and peaceful rural location within driving to coastal and inland areas.
Fully equipped Cottage .Friendly people and I had the opportunity to speak to the owner who was very friendly and informative regarding the area .
We visited the Witching Post In in Egton wonderful meal and welcoming community.
Highly recommended all round .

"An absolutely amazing location."
Panoramic views from the property, with lots of walks on the doorstep. The dogs had a great time.
Clean on arrival and very comfy beds with all of the amenities required.
Would definitely visit again.

Brilliant location high up on the moors, quite isolated yet easy to visit various places.
Wonderful garden for the dogs to explore. The whole complex is so well thought out and so carefully maintained. It was a privilege to stay in such a beautiful place. We could not have enjoyed it more and feel so relaxed.

"Silver Birches is a lovely cottage, its well equiped, comfortable and a place you could return to again and again."
The surrounding area is beautiful whatever the weather.
It's a wildlife haven, we saw a barn owl every day plus deer and hares.

"Fantastic location for a lovely cottage, beautifully fitted and comfortable."
The views from the windows and gardens are perfect, so peaceful except for the sounds of cuckoos every morning and evening plus all the other wildlife. Nearest pub about 2 miles most welcoming even with our 2 dogs food and real ale very nice. We will go back.

"Lovely cottage set in such a beautiful location and it’s so peaceful and quiet there it is the most relaxing place we have stayed, the cottage is very homely and comfortable with everything you need and a lovely open fire which we really enjoyed."
There are plenty of things to do in the area for days out and the area is excellent for walking on the moors which the dogs loved .We had a brilliant time here.

"Lovely hosts, beautiful cottage and grounds and outstanding views."
Very good facilities and the cottage was very comfortable. Delia and Andy were very helpful and a pleasure to stay with. Great place if you have a little one or a dog. We got the train to Whitby from the train station in the Village and the local pub was really nice.

"Superb property with everything you could possibly need, and everything in good working order."
This bungalow stands in an idyllic rural area with amazing wildlife visiting the garden and adjoining lands. The grounds are attractively landscaped and well planted.
The owners are helpful and friendly.
The nearby Arncliffe arms is very welcoming, and serves very good food at reasonable prices.

"If you want peace this is the place to go."
The views are spectacular, the garden wonderful especially for dogs to race around ( it is not secure so you need to have well behaved dogs). The cottage was beautifully appointed with good quality crockery. We lit the fire one day as we didn’t have the best of weather and it was lovely and cosy. Whitby only 9 miles away and lots of other Yorkshire towns to visit. We drove down Chimney Bank coming back from Rosedale, the steepest road in Britain
