Lovely place enjoyed our stay

This was our third visit to Manor House Farm but first to Wolds Way.

We really enjoyed having the patio to sit on and will definitely be booking again for next year. We love strolling upto the walled kitchen garden where you can sit under the apple trees and see what's vegetables and soft fruit are growing.

Lovely property in excellent location ,the extra radiators provided kept us cosy We would definitely stay here again, owners very friendly ,wifi very reliable and useful for local knowledge ☺️

We stayed at Wolds View over New Year, we really loved it.

The cottage is in a perfect location for vistiting Pocklington, Driffield and surrounding small villages. We did several walks with the dog, and visited dog friendly pubs and coffee shops. Field House coffee Barn on Huggate road is really nice, food is lovely. Cakes are amazing. Bainton Stop in Bainton is equally as good. Triton Arms in Sledmere, and of course the Star Inn across the road, literally stumbling distance. The owner came to say hello and asked if everything was okay. The cottage was cosy, we had the fire on every day, coal and logs free to use from garage area on farm. Kitchen was well equipped and new, and Bathroom was lovely and clean and modern. Loved the deep bathroom sink. This cottage would be exceptional, but I did feel the furnishings let it down , the bedding was clean but not of the highest quality. But having said that we liked it and were reluctant to leave.

The property was lovely and clean baring the cobwebs, but think that’s a seasonal issue across most houses! We had good weather for the time of year and found the house very warm even with the radiators turned down. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of storage in the bedrooms (and comfy beds). Tennis rackets and balls for the daily game with the kids a bonus. Didn’t get to use the pool but sure it would have been a great addition in the warmer months. EV charger on site a bonus and much appreciated. Perfectly placed for day trips to the coast, York, Hull etc.

This was like a home from home.

Olly was very welcoming. The cottage was extremely clean, with an open fire if you wanted to use it the coals and wood was sipplied. The cottage well equipped with everything you nred, and very comfortable set in beautiful location. Facilities was excellent. We were able to pick fresh fruit and vegetables from the walled garden. The comfy bed and pillows guaranteed a great night's sleep. There was a small enclosed patio great for our 2 wee dogs there was a bbq, with charcoal supplied and patio furniture. We will definitely be back again and recommend this property.

The grandchildren loved the swimming pool! The cottage was clean and well equipped. We've already booked a further two stays so that says it all really!

Cottage was dirty to our standards dead flies on the window sills, smelt very fusty and un clean, bedding didn't smell freshly washed, cobwebs in all windows and the windows were difficult to open and stay open need replacing.

Never saw the owner at all for feedback would not return and would not recommend to any friends or family. Never been asked to stip my own bed either to help the cleaner on change over day i.m on holiday not there to clean. Barbecue outdoors was left dirty and not been cleaned in a while, no outside umberella so yard was to warm to sit in as no shelter offered. We didn't enjoy the food across the road from the pub over priced and not much choice at all.

Wolds Way is a smashing cottage, in a fabulous location.

We have been to the adjoining cottage, before, and are returning to this one for two weeks later in the year. Easy to have your dogs, and this time it was warm enough to use the pool! Thank you.

We had a great stay at the property it was clean and tidy when we arrived.

On the first day the owner came and introduced himself and then showed us around the property grounds. We never got to try the swimming pool which looked very tempting. The pub over the road from the property was a bonus for me I could have a pint or two and not worry about driving. Overall a fantastic stay.

Olly personally introduced himself, showed us around the grounds, very friendly.

Very spacious and morethan adequate for our needs. Children loved using the heated pool. We would absolutely consider staying here again.

Comfortable stay in the beautiful Wolds countryside.

The cottage is well equipped in a lovely village setting close to a good dog-friendly pub and the scenic duck pond. Great spot for dog walking and for a restful break

What a lovely cottage set on a farm complex in a quiet village with duck pond and pub…. Everything was perfect and we will definitely be back…..

Second visit , cottage is very comfortable and the local area is full of lovely places to go walking.

If you don’t mind an hours drive a visit to the Yorkshire sculpture park is a must ! Also half an hour away you’ll find Camp Eden .. if your into History this is also a must to visit !! Will definitely return

Brilliant accommodation well laid out nice and very clean,owners made us well come and could not do enough.

Wolds Way is a lovely cottage, bigger than expected and has everything you could need.

The extras that are supplied add to the comfort of your stay, such as milk and prosecco in the fridge on arrival and washing and dishwasher tablets. The children loved the pool and tennis courts and we used the enclosed garden every day multiple times. Everyone we met on the farm and around the area (pub across the road) were so lovely, it's such a quiet, peaceful, friendly village and we will definitely be looking to book again.

Well placed for visiting the surrounding area.

Pub excellent. Being able to charge my car up was a bonus.

We enjoyed our stay in Wolds Way and felt quite comfortable in the house as a place for some much-needed relaxation.

We visit the area quite a a bit but this was our first time in the village of North Dalton which is lovely. There are lots of places nearby to visit but this time we mainly used Wolds Way as a place to relax with odd, short trips out here and there..and it’s a decent cottage for this purpose. The beds are really comfy (no footboards so tall people like me are welcome,) and equally the sofas are great for comfort. Really helpful owner and great to be able to make use of the gardens etc, Dog walks from the doorstep, although our nervous dog didn’t like the bangs from the bird scarers in the pea fields…this was the case all over the area, incl the secure dog fields in Driffield and Pocklington/Barmby, so it applies to any cottage in the region so please do not let this put you off. we would like to return to this cottage but maybe at a different time of year.

Property was bigger than it looked on photos , was warm and cosy , very comfortable bed !

Best sleep I’ve had on a holiday ! The little walled area at front was perfect for the dogs with the added bonus of the shared gardens just a few steps away ! Absolutely perfect, will definitely be booking again , so many places to go and such a beautiful place to stay ! On a side note , if you’re vegetarian I wouldn’t bother with the pub across the road , if you want a good hearty home cooked meal go a little further up the road to the Robin Hood. The cottage was well equipped, very clean and comfortable.

The facilities were excellent and the owners supplied plenty of wood/coal for the open fire which was amazing. Ideally situated to visit places like York, Beverly and coastal towns. Would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone and will certainly look at returning
