Loads of fantastic paces nearby. Main room oddly lacking cosy factor as of strange lay out. WiFi code hard to read as tiny font, warm and comfortable place. Thornton le dale lovely place to visit.

Really nicely kept and equipped. Only negative we have and it’s obviously a personal thing as everyone is different is the mattress was but on soft side and the shower wasn’t very powerful for hair washing. As I said that’s just our personal preference to things but it is a really lovely cottage and would definitely recommend staying here

"Not having any wifi was a nice break, but having the password on the window sill was a bit confusing as there was no network to connect to."
If we had known we wouldn't have bothered bringing a laptop. Similar for the TV, not being able to use the iplayer etc was a pity with a smart TV. Saying that, ti was a lovely break in a great part of the world and we certainly would consider coming again. The garden was perfect for the dogs.
