Stayed in quite a few airbnb and other accommodations this was far superior in every way to anything else we have stayed in Scarborough. It was absolutely spotless and tastefully decorated. Excellent responsive communication from Deborah received a number of emails before we arrived providing details and asking if we wanted a gate to be in place since we had a child. Had no problem with parking during the stay and I know that can be a challenge in the old town. One small pointer and more for improvement than a negative black out blinds would really help in the bedrooms as our son was awake early with the sunlight would make a big difference. However it would not stop us from rebooking and already looking at options for next year.

  • "The cottage has been finished to a fantastic standard."

It is very well equipped and feels cosy which was just what we needed, especially with some rainy days! We had hour 8 month old little boy with us and Deb went the extra mile by putting black out fixtures to the curtain which meant our little man slept like a dream (thank you so much!!). When we arrived there were biscuits, wine, hot chocolate and milk which was a very welcoming touch. Deb was incredibly helpful when I messed up the parking permit and dropped new ones off the same evening. The cottage is situated in the perfect spot, although the hill is steep to the home - it is only short and is quickly forgotten about when you reach the top. We barely used the car as everything was so accessible by foot. My only recommendations would be a little foot pouffe/stool for a little extra comfort and maybe an extra lamp. It was honestly so clean and cosy, we are definitely wanting to go back if Debs will have us! My only advice is, make sure you read the instructions for the parking permit properly to avoid debs having to do an unnecessary trip (sorry again Deb!) Thanks for a fantastic stay.
