  • "Very nice wee cottage and friendly place for a holiday."

As stated in the advert it is on a busy main road. If I was able to tune out to the traffic noise, then I am sure most people should be able. I suppose that could be a put off for some but we had an excellent stay at this cottage.

In the advert it says some road noise we only stayed one night could not sleep due to the motor bikes and car going passed at god knows what speed the owner is a lovely lady but I can not recommend it at all

  • "Comfortable cottage."

A little noisy as situated next to the A171 and dark living area. Very clean everything necessary. I folder of local information and dog friendly eating establishments would be useful. Otherwise ideal with necessary facilities, parking and secure garden area.

  • "A superb cottage and ideally located for getting out and about locally."

Park and ride only 1 mile down the road. Great space at the back for our dog to run around and totally secure. The welcome pack was much appreciated. Only problem is the shower water pressure very poor. The owner’s lovely people who live on site

  • "Lovely little cottage."

Only 5 mins from Whitby. Greeted by the owner on arrival, and had a welcome ‘hamper’ waiting for us, bread, cheese, biscuits, wine. Lovely touch. It is off a busy road, so there is some traffic noise. Overall very good!

  • "Beautiful little cottage, exactly what we wanted."

Lovely and clean, and a really nice little grassed area at the back. Less than a 10 min drive to Whitby, and 15 mins to Robin Hoods Bay. Only 2 tiny issues, 1. The water pressure in the shower wasn't great 2. The double bed was very very squeaky and the mattress was a little sagged in the middle, still comfy thought.
