Flittermouse Barn is a two-hundred-year-old barn sited close to the Yorkshire coast on the edge of Hornsea, perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway, offering exceptional interiors and a serene setting with an excellent private garden. The barn features open ceilings that reveal the timber structure, as well as exposed brickwork and polished concrete floors.

The outside space is equally special, including a large patio with sun loungers, a covered gazebo with a barbeque and comfy seating for the warmer months.

The enclosed garden has been professionally landscaped and planted. This stunning hideaway flanks Hornsea Mere, the largest freshwater lake in Yorkshire.

Decorated and furnished in a calm yet luxurious style and set on one level, guests will not be disappointed as they enter the gorgeous open-plan living area; home to a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable sitting area with, Wi-Fi, TV and a wood burning stove - a fantastic place to relax and enjoy this peaceful location.

The spacious hallway leading to the bedroom houses two double wardrobes.The bedroom includes a king size bed, a wall-mounted Samsung 'frame' Smart television, and a vaulted ceiling.

The bathroom oozes character and charm, with a traditional cast iron bath and a separate shower enclosure. Located in the grounds of Weatherhill Farm with uninterrupted countryside views, the outside space in front of the barn truly is something special.

HORNSEA

Bridlington 15 miles.

The pretty seaside town of Hornsea lies on the East Coast, 15 miles south of Bridlington. This old Victorian resort has long, wide, safe sandy beaches and an attractive promenade with well-kept gardens, ideal for families. The bustling town centre has an old-fashioned feel with a good variety of small shops, pubs and cafes, whilst nearby Hornsea Mere is the largest natural lake in Yorkshire and offers sailing, fishing and boat trips. Hornsea Freeport is popular for shopping, whilst Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve can be reached in just over half an hour's drive, offering one of the largest mainland puffin populations in Britain. Hornsea is near to Wassand Hall and walled gardens and provides a good base for touring the Yorkshire Wolds, the North York Moors and the East Riding coastal resorts.
