  • "Really lovely cottage very clean with everything you need nice welcoming hamper"

Thank you for taking the time to write an exceptionally positive review for our cottage. We are very pleased you enjoyed your stay in Whitby. I also hope you had a front row view of the Northern Lights during your stay. Thank you. Property Owner

  • "Great central location with just a short walk into the centre of town."

The cottage is beautifully maintained and presented. A lovely welcome pack greeted us. All the bedrooms are spacious and so comfortable. So nice to have such comfortable beds when staying away from home. The kitchen area has everything you could need and is a great social area. Both bathrooms are very modern with great showers. We have nothing but praise. Thank you for such a great weekend.

Thank you for your outstanding review of our much loved cottage. We work very hard to maintain standards & it’s a pleasure to do so when our clients appreciate the comfort & ambience. Thank you. Ros & Ivan Property Owner

  • "A lovely, cosy cottage to stay in."

It's very modern & comfortable. I couldn't fault anything about the place. Location is great but as with most cottages/accommodation in Whitby, it's on a hill. The yard space is shared with 2 other properties but you have your own little corner with a bistro table & chairs.

Thank you for your complimentary comments about our lovely cottage. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us & that you enjoyed the delightfully quirky nature of Whitby. Property Owner

  • "Tucked away, very comfy beds & settee, great bolt hole being so close to town."

Could do with vertical blinds on windows as overlooked, coat hangers, 2 parking permits if on a weekend stay, small milk left instead of ginger cake 4 making tea / coffee,a microwave cover. Nice touches are umbrellas, all general household facilities needed and well informed information booklet.Peaceful location

Hello, thank you for taking the time to respond so positively to our beautiful cottage. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay in Whitby. We are presently in the process of adding further curtaining to The Harbour Room. Kind regards, Ros & Ivan Property Owner

  • "Superb location for strolling into the town."

Very well kept with every facility required. Only slight complaint, there is a locked freezer in the twin room which buzzes and gurgles which is annoying in the night, also the window looks directly into a neighbour’s kitchen window. However I would highly recommend this property, it ticks the boxes and more!

Thank you for your excellent review. We are pleased you had a comfortable stay in our beautiful cottage. We are now in the process of putting up some net curtains in The Harbour Room as a result of your comments. Thank you. Ros & Ivan. Property Owner

  • "Excellent well equipped cottage in middle of town."

On street Car parking provided free, which was an unexpected bonus. Automatic settings on heating were a little cool for us and we had to turn it up a little which wasn't always successful.

Thank you for your feedback. The in-house guide explains how to increase the heating temperature in the cottage. Kind regards, Ros & Ivan Property Owner
