  • "There was everything we could possibly need in the chalet ideal for our little dog the only problem we had was the stairs to double bedroom as we both struggle with our legs."

. But there was 2 single bedrooms downstairs it was really clean and we met John who didn’t mind us turning up early he was a lovely Yorkshire fella !

  • "Well placed small chalet on holiday park."

5 minutes from the beach and in the other direction a fish & chip shop, convenience store and bus stop. However, we had to discover all this for ourselves, there was no local information in the chalet, not even a visitors' book. We were also surprised there was no hairdryer, for around £600 per week we expected one. There was a welcome box with drinks and biscuits but no shower gell or shampoo. We are more used to cottages, so perhaps chalets and caravans are not so well equipped, must make a note for next time!!!

Very clean and tidy and extremely well equipped. Owners are very accommodating and welcoming. It’s our second stay here as we loved it the first time. Will definitely be booking it again. Highly recommend

  • "Chalet 235 was perfect for us with our dog and would recommend a stay here."

After being a chalet housekeeper for a sykes property and other companies in the past I am quite fussy about cleaning and did have to go over the bathroom and oven. Not a major complaint at all. The small beds could do with renewing as the matress springs could be felt and the beds squeak every time you turn over. As I say no major complaints and 235 was lovely as was John the owner.

  • "We have enjoyed our stay."

The chalet provided everything we needed. If I have a criticism it is the single beds they are just about adequate for adults. Small niggle as were were so tired by Tuesday night we could have slept on pebbles!!! Everything worked and we enjoyed our stay!!!!

  • "Such a lovely little Chalet, my son was so excited to sleep in the loft bedroom, and as a family, it was a great little getaway."

Unfortunately, the previous tenants must have smoked, so this ruined it for us and put us off from staying again. I would have loved to have given 4 stars, John and Kate are clearly very thoughtful people who make sure you have everything you need for a great experience. Plenty of parking next to chalet, nice and quiet surroundings and just a perfect little all rounder. Thank you for the stay, I recommend this place.

  • "A Lovely welcome note and Christmas present under the Christmas tree on arrival."

Didn’t meet John and Kate but it was very reassuring I could contact them directly by mobile if needed and not have to go through other parties. The house was warm and clean on arrival and had everything you need for a brake away any time of the year. Home from home. Dog friendly for well behaved/house trained dog. Two friendly seagulls always sat on fence. Nice decking area to sit out on with enclosed fence and patio area. Outdoor Waste bins in a good location and parking. 10mins walk from the beach 10mins drive to get to shops and town centre John and Kate are blessed to have a lovely holiday home .
