"Lovely comfortable and well maintained cabin."
Only problem was wobbly wire on microwave causing cut out and toilet seat that wouldn't stay up but these were reported to housekeeper and didn't spoil our stay. A lovely surprise to find Christmas tree and gifts from property owner.

The cabin is well thought out and very welcoming and cosy. More facilities/ utensils than I had expected. I also had the opportunity to meet the owner who was extremely friendly and helpful. All in all, a great break away and I wish I’d booked for 2 weeks instead of 1. Many Thanks

"Nice and quiet location."
Clean & cosy. Orientation and trees make it a bit dark inside. Traffic and parking an issue throughout the area, especially near the coast, however head inland for true scenery and hospitality.

Facilities were very good and provided everything that all but the very "picky" would need for a self-catering stay. Open Plan Lounge/Kitchen was very good. Shower/Toilet excellent. Heating System Excellent. Bedroom Very Good, however I found the bed a bit soft for me, my wife loved it. If there was any downside it was that the cabins position did not get the sunlight until after 5:00 pm due to the trees. Otherwise 5 star.

Bath towel not bigger enough . Bad taste from the kettle had to boil water in a saucepan for coffee hoover smells when hoovering. Not keen on the windows (opening) other than that it is situated in a lovely place

It is one of several cabins on a remarkably peaceful and beautiful location. Walking distance to a couple of nice pubs in the village. Really comfortable accommodation with everything you need if you wanted to cater for yourself all week. Unbelievable value for money. If you haven’t considered a trip to this part of the world, do! And this is the place to stay.

"This was a well built, solid, comfortable holiday cabin."
Facilities were fine for our needs and represents very good value. The location was quiet and private with good parking. Some of the public footpaths in the area were overgrown and not easy to walk . All in all we had a great week visiting fabulous beeches and lovely countryside.

"Lovely log cabin set on a quiet holiday park."
You wouldn’t know anyone else was staying at the park as it was so quiet. I stayed with my 7 year old and we had a wonderful time. The cabin was very clean, warm and homely. There was building work going on at the house in the field next door, (which we knew about beforehand) it was barely noticeable as there was no noise. Sitting to the table for breakfast we looked out on to the grass in front and a large corn field to the left, which was lovely as are the rest of the views in the park. The children’s outdoor park is great. There’s a washer and dryer on site too, so just remember to bring change and washing detergent. I have never been to Northumberland before and I was taken away with how beautiful this area is. While we were there we joined English heritage, as there are plenty of places to visit. Brinkburn Priory which isn’t far, Edlington Castle, Warkworth castle and Warkworth beach. Dunstanburgh Castle in Caster a lovely fishing village. The castle is about a mile or so walk from the car park with breath taking views along the way. Over all a great cabin and wonderful area to stay in. Looking forward to returning

I would imagine it would be suitable for a wheelchair user, as it has ramp access at the front door and wide doorways and turning circles throughout the property. There are two well placed grab handles in the walk-in shower and this also has wide access but no seat. (Just an observation not a criticism.) There is also a grab handle at the side of the toilet. The properties were well spaced out and although there was no dedicated dog walk, the circular stroll round the site was pleasant. There were lovely views of the hills and woods and the constantly changing sky. Longframlington village is within walking distance and has an excellent butchers, two pubs (the Village Inn is dog friendly), a village shop and cake shop. We also had a very good meal at the Anglers Arms just outside the village on the way to Rothbury. An ideal base for exploring the Northumberland coast, National Park and National Trust properties at Cragside and Wallington. Would definitely be on our list to visit here again.

Spotlessly clean. Fantastic views of open countryside. Handy for Alnwick, Cragside and coast. Points to note: the cabin is actually called Jedburgh, although it does say John's cabin underneath. Also, the folder needs updating: it lacks the usual local details like contact numbers for doctor, vet etc. And leaflets are out of date (2019) - I put a few new ones in.

The village of Longframlington sits at the heart of rural Northumberland, between the Cheviots and the coast and provides great access to a range of great walking opportunities. Brinkburn Priory is a pleasant, short drive away - a restored Augustinian priory in a most lovely setting beside the River Coquet. Just 10 minutes’ drive to the west is the National Trust’s Cragside House and Gardens, whilst the Heritage Coast is just a 15-minute drive to the east, offering miles of clean sandy beaches. The historic town of Alnwick, with its impressive Castle and Garden, lies just 11 miles to the north and is well worth a visit. With the spectacular National Park also within easy reach, this superb base is ideal for exploring Northumberland or taking a relaxing break!
