"It’s a very nice location."
The cottage is okay, but it could have been a bit cleaner—the sofas in the living room are sagging and really ought to be replaced... plus, it just needs a better cleaning overall.

"We had a wonderful Friday to Monday stay with our two young children."
The lodge was ready for 4pm as stated, clean and tidy. The mattress was lovely and comfy, bathrooms and kitchen had everything you needed. The hot tub was maintained daily at a beautiful 40 degrees. The outdoor area had decking with table and chairs to enjoy to beautiful views. Location was perfect for either a stroll into the neibouring towns or as a base to venture further a field. We have already recommended it to family and will be sure to visit again! Thank you for helping us make lifetime memories with our family xx

The hot tub was absolutely immaculate! It gets emptied, cleaned and refilled after each booking I’ve never known that anywhere else. As for the staff, well they were just fabulous! We had taken my 90 year old Grandma with us for her birthday treat and the staff could not have been more wonderful! We WILL be back! Thank you especially to Tracy, you were fabulous, we won’t forget your kindness! Dawn

We love to walk around Dovestones so it was a no brainer to stay and make full use of the hot tub and cosy lodge! Clean and maintained- everything was spotless! Spacious and comfortable- 5 of us stayed and had plenty of space! The grounds are open and maintained well and the hot tub is a great addition after a walking all day. From pots and pans to comfortable beds and perfect scenery, dovestones lodges has it all. Perfect for a short stay!

Greenfield is one of seven villages nestling amongst the 18,000 acres of moorland hills, open fields and scenic valleys that comprise the Saddleworth area. These Pennine villages have a wool spinning and agricultural heritage dating back to the Industrial Revolution, but today Saddleworth has evolved into an attractive South Pennine and Peak District National Park area with breathtaking views and glorious stone-built buildings. Greenfield is a thriving little village with a good range of amenities, and well placed to explore the South Pennine region. Greenfield has Saddleworth’s largest park in Churchill Playing Fields, which includes a skateboard park and tennis courts. It also has the canal marina and Saddleworth’s train station, which is an extremely popular stopping off point on the ‘Real Ale Rail Trail’ and offers easy access into Manchester for a city visit. Live entertainment at local pubs includes folk, rock, jazz and classical guitar concerts, and the ‘Off the Rails’ comedy club.
