This is our second visit and our only regret is that I understand the owners are not renting it anymore after this year. A quiet location, yet well placed for pubs, shops and hundreds of listed buildings within a few minutes walk. The garden is fantastic and those bifold doors are something else. • "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Little House."

All our creature comforts were met, that said would recommend sofas be replaced, not so comfortable, but that's our only criticism. In an excellent location for Ludlow town. The bread, jams and milk were much appreciated. Good communication with Kevin. Well done to the cleaning staff, the house was spotless. Our Labrador had a great time in the garden, as did we. Thank you so much for ensuring we had a lovely holiday.

Lovely accommodation and plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. It was spotless when we arrived. A lovely welcome basket of fresh bread, jams, milk and shortbread. Less than 5 minute walk to a supermarket and the town centre so perfectly placed. Ample parking for 3 vehicles and a very friendly neighbour who recommended places to visit. Scored low due to poor service from Sykes and not the cottage owner.

Too short given all there is to do in and around Ludlow. The best features are the BiFold doors and large garden, which being enclosed, was superb for our dogs. Neighbours very friendly and weather hot, housekeeper Kevin totally helpful. Concerts at the Castle, meals at the Queens, curries at Shapla, Whitcliffe dog walks, beer at the Old Street Tavern, BBQ on the patio... amongst the highlights. Many Thanks!

The property is conveniently located near to the town and all facilities and is mostly comfortable, the settees are not so good, and has all the facilities needed for a good holiday.I was comfronted by the irate owner of the cedars property next door which shares the driveway with this property. He was unhappy at me using "his driveway" for reversing into the Little house parking area. This makes it less safe to park due to the main road being very busy at times. This did not take away any enjoyment of the holiday though!

The welcome basket of bread, jam and biscuits along with the tea, coffee and sugar in house already was a very nice touch. We cooked most nights and didn’t find the kitchen lacking. We spent a lot of time enjoying the sunshine on the patio and in the garden - and the bi-fold doors really brought the outside in. The elderly lady next door was super friendly - we got the feeling she says hi to all her ‘new’ neighbours! The linen and towels were of excellent quality and we all found our respective beds very comfortable. We had a lovely time exploring Ludlow and the surrounding areas but it was genuinely lovely to return to our Little House. Only two wee niggles. No shaving point in the house so had to buy an adaptor to charge our toothbrushes and the extractor fan and shower head in the back en-suite need attention. I hasten to add, these did not spoil our holiday in any way. We would 100% use the Little House again if returning to Shropshire.

Beds were also very comfortable and the bi-fold doors in kitchen / diner were fabulous and a lovely feature. View from the patio is great too. Only slight irritants were the mirrored cupboards in en-suite bathrooms which make it quite difficult to use the sinks, so replacing with just a mirror would make life easier. Grass was also a little long in the garden so a more regular cut would go down well. Otherwise a great cottage, a lovely stay and would definitely return.

This is a charming , well maintained cottage just minutes away from the town and local supermarkets . Everything which you could need has been incorporated , and things you didn’t think you needed as well ! All the fittings were of the highest standard , with good quality linens and crockery . The bifold doors to the extensive garden were a blessing as we enjoyed hot weather (there is a useful fan in the downstairs storage area ) and our dog loved roaming around the fully enclosed garden . We would thoroughly recommend this property which is spotlessly clean and very well maintained to the highest standard . The neighbour in the adjacent is particularly helpful . The frontage of the property doesn’t do it justice ………walk through the front door before you form any opinion , you are in for a treat ! A helpful word of advice ….parking is a little tight and you pull out of the drive onto a road which is busy at the usual times . However, we worked out that by reversing into the drive , things were much easier ! A pleasure to spend time in this lovely cottage in a lovely area of the country .

We really enjoyed sitting with the patio doors open on an evening and taking in the view over to the hills beyond. One of the few holiday homes that we all said we can't wait to return to. Thank you to the owner and manager for a fantastic and very relaxing few days! Please note: Sykes was not the most helpful with my booking - I received no email confirmation of my booking (despite receiving this email from the company to review the holiday after returning home, which seems quite strange...). I contacted Sykes to ask for confirmation and was told I would receive full details in the post but I never received anything - I'm now back from holiday and still nothing in the post... I managed to get all the info in the end by setting up an account and making some extra phone calls. Not the first time I've had trouble with Sykes. Luckily, this didn't spoil the holiday, but it does make me wonder about Sykes' system of communicating with their customers.
