What guests are saying
What can I say a real home from home.
Cosy comfortable and well equipped. The welcome basket was very much appreciated. There was a problem with the hot water and the radiator in the front room but this was sorted out really quickly and did not spoil our stay. In fact I wish we had booked for longer.
Beech cottage is beautiful, the decor is lovely and very comfortable.
It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday . The hot tub is a great idea loved it and the view what I can say absolutely stunning, we had a fantastic holiday in beech cottage and would definitely love to return.
When we arrived there was a wedding going on as there is a wedding venue next door, if in garden you could hear the noise from there.
The bathroom had not been cleaned properly there were hairs on floor like someone had been cutting their hair, dirty skirting boards. There was a musty smell in the bedrooms especially the smaller one. The shower pressure was awful, worst shower we’ve have ever had. The bath side was higher than a normal modern bath difficult to get in and out of, had we have known would not have booked. Some broken paving on way to hot tub. Table and chairs at top need re staining grubby looking. There was a dirty cutlery drawer too. Hot tub was cool on arrival, the owner did turn this up for us once we informed them. The lounge is very nice and the kitchen. Oven really needed another shelf to for cooking. Other than that it was well equipped.
