Excellent accommodation very clean and tidy would highly recommend this apartment.

Well situated to explore the borders area would recommend a visit to Abbotsford house and the Ochiltree cafe in visitors centre. Plenty of good eating out places within a 20 minute drive or walk to Shanghai banquet all you can eat restaurant.

The location of the flat is ideal - it's within walking distance of Abbotsford and a short drive from Melrose, Galashiels and Peebles.

From the nearby train station, it is only an hour into Edinburgh through beautiful countryside. The flat itself was clean and comfortable with everything that we needed. The comfort rating was slightly reduced because my friend complained of hard pillows. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the Borders.

We have experienced stays across the seasons now and Tweedbank Apartment has never let us down. As usual we had a relaxing, comfortable and troublefree stay.

This was our second stay in Tweed Apartment and we enjoyed it as much as the first time.

We like the location, which is handy for nearby Melrose, and the walkable rail station enabling trips to Edinburgh. It is a cosy flat and has everything we need for our stay.

We stay very regularly at this lovely apartment and can thoroughly recommend it.

It is clean, comfortable and very importantly a very peaceful place to choose to stay. Attention to detail ensures that it is very well equipped for guests and has a really homely feel. Book without hesitation and you will have a really wonderful time.

The property gets scored down on facilities and maintenance only because there is no lift and dishwasher possible otherwise it’s well fitted out.

We were delighted with the welcome gift of wine and Scottish shortbread. A lovely base to stay, very convenient for walking trails. Plentiful parking.

I really enjoyed my stay at Tweed Apartment, it had everything I needed for a lovely, comfortable stay.

It was ideally placed for using the public bus service and I really enjoyed all the walks I did in the local area whilst also managing to finally complete the Borders Abbeys Way. What a stunningly lovely area! I was so lucky to have a dry and mostly sunny week and would happily stay at this property again.

Very comfortable and had everything we needed.

Clean, great bed and fantastic shower. Central to all the places we visited and good connecting roads.

It’s a great base for exploring and was really clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed, and was as described. The owner’s directions before were very useful, and our son was happy to find shortbread on arrival. It’s in a great quiet spot but lovely walks on the doorstep, and easy to get to shops and amenities. We went with two kids and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. So easy to get train to Edinburgh, and lots of lovely places to go local. Really nice.

A relaxing time was had by the two of us in this comfortable holiday apartment.

Great location for fishing a number of beats of the River Tweed plus easy walking distance to Abbotsford and riverside walks and the local train station. Also close to local shopping.

What a perfect stay we had at Tweed Apartment!

Lovely feel from the moment we walked in. Very organised and so easy to settle in and make a real 'home from home'. Hosts were very helpful and polite not that we had to consult them for any significant reason! Great base to explore the beautiful Scottish Borders. Can thoroughly recommend and we will certainly will be rebooking before too long as we have close family nearby ☺️

The apartment worked well for me, Good location for the train and local amenities.

Although I was there alone I did have my grown son and his wife stay overnight one night. Cooking while they were there was the only time the size and layout of the kitchen became a nuisance. Other than that, the WiFi worked well (I did some work on line) TV, heating, beds were all excellent.

Great apartment.

Everything you would need was there for you. Plenty to explore in the area and lovely walks. Owners kept in touch and the wine and shortbread they left for our arrival was a nice gesture. Kitchen was excellent with all the usual kitchen utensils. Easy walk to the railway station and bus stops 5 minutes walk away. Would certainly recommend this lovely apartment for a stay in the borders.

Lovely apartment situated in a central position for all the border towns, lovely walks on down the river Tweed nearby, would certainly book it again for a holiday in the borders.

Clean, light and airy apartment which was cool even during an unexpected heatwave.

Beautifully situated in a quiet suburb with a view of trees and hills from the living room window and with shop, station and riverside walks within easy walking distance. The kitchen is compact but well equipped - we managed to make a roast dinner without problems! Comfortable beds and sofas, plenty of storage space and friendly owners. Would definitely recommend.

This is a central apartment in Teedbank close to lots of beautiful villages & towns within the Borders.

We went by local train to Edinburgh for the day and visited castles & stately homes all within a short drive. The apartment was spotlessly clean with a nice bottle of wine as a welcome gift we would certainly recommend this cosy apartment for discovering the stunning countryside of the Scottish Borders.

A very clean comfortable apartment in an idea location to explore the Scottish Borders.

Lovely walks to Abbordsford (Sir Walter Scots House ) and Melrose along the river tweed. A short walk to the station where you can catch the train to Edinburgh . Key collection was easy we were met by Ross who was really helpful and gave us plenty of advice regarding the area.. We would defiantly stay in this Apartment again.

It is perfectly situated to allow easy access to the Scottish Borders tourist hotspots, whilst there are pleasant walks to Abbotsford and Melrose from the apartment itself.

A real home away from home. It was also a very good base for exploring the Scottish Borders area and Edinburgh, with the main A roads and station just around the corner. The restaurant across the road, which did excellent takeaway pizza at a very reasonable price, was a real bonus. We are seriously considering booking this flat again for next year!

Fabulous apartment, lovely and spacious with everything I needed.

Such a shame I was there on business as the surroundings were beautiful. The hosts brother-in-law came to meet me and even carried my suitcase up the two flights of stairs. Would definitely stay again and thoroughly recommend if you want to explore the surrounding area

Excellent location for touring the Borders.

Immaculate tasteful flat with everything we needed for a few days work and leisure in the area.

The location of the apartment was ideal, just a short walk from the train station and bus stops.

Although we did have the car, we took advantage of the local transport links to travel to Edinburgh. The apartment had everything you need for a self catering holiday. Warm, clean and comfortable. The photos on the Sykes site do the apartment justice. There were terrific views, local walks and a handy shop. The fish and chip van was great also. Tweeddale is a good place to serve as a base for travelling around the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. Definitely would use Sykes again and probably this apartment.

The apartment was like a home from home, it was extremely comfortable with fantastic facilities and was very easy to find.

The location was great as were the views. I would definitely recommend this apartment. The owners were easily accessible and we were met at the property to collect the keys on arrival, the communication from the owners beforehand and during our stay was spot on. We had a lovely few days visiting Scotland.

The fact that there was contact with the owner 48 hours before the holiday begins gives piece of mind.

The owner was friendly and helpful. The directions easy to follow and accurate. The apartment was cosy, well equipped , conveniently situated with a pleasant view from the french doors onto the balcony. We felt "at home" within 5 minutes.

The apartment we stayed at was indeed wonderful in all aspects.

The decor, the cleanliness, the views, the beds which were so comfortable, the amount of clean towels, the kitchen devices,... everything really makes your stay a full star place. Also, the kindness of the owner and her brother is also another asset.

g. Edinburgh. The flat was well equipped, having everything we needed and more. Parking right beside block and a park with lake, small convenience store and good restaurant and bar is only a 5 minute walk away. Would certainly recommend this this flat to friends and family and would not hesitate to use it again.

We thoroughly appreciated our recent holiday location and are very impressed with Sykes as they tick all the boxes when it comes to holiday accommodations.
