  • "This property is situated in such a fabulous spot."

It's so tranquil, you'd hardly believe you were two miles from the centre of Edinburgh—an urban oasis! The house is immaculate and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Light, airy, and spacious it's easily my favourite holiday letting I've ever stayed in. I honestly can't recommend this place enough. PS For anyone reading this, if you have time [and transport], do visit The Kelpies in Falkirk—hands down, the most magnificent, breath-taking sculptures/art installation in the entire UK.

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay and found the house comfortable. We also have enjoyed visiting the Kelpies. The sculptures are incredible and the story that inspired them is fascinating. There is so much to see in and around Edinburgh. Property Owner

  • "We had a wonderful week at 6 Coltbridge Gardens."

It is extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped and, although not a far walk from the city centre, it is peacefully quiet. There's really good public transport just a short walk from the property but it is an attractive 40 minute stroll through the old streets to the centre. Although we didn't use it (being January), the garden is lovely as it slopes down to the water of leith with all sorts of wildfowl to be spotted on it. The beds were very comfortable as was the furniture in the lounge. The kitchen was very well equipped although a large casserole dish would be a useful addition. The information manual was comprehensive and informative. On the one occasion we needed to call the owners with a query, they were really helpful and friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay at the house and hope to return before the end of the year.

Thank you for your lovely feedback. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay in Edinburgh. A casserole dish for the oven is a very good idea and I'll arrange that as soon as I can. We would love to welcome you back again. Property Owner

Rental in January so lovely to walk in to a warm home many owners leave heating on summer setting which is not ideal this was perfect. The house is as stated lovely size rooms with high ceilings on a very quiet road so quiet that the morning we left 3 dear’s where grazing over the road. Would highly recommend and will visit again in the future.

Thank you for your positive feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. You were so fortunate to see the deer. Often they keep themselves hidden. We look forward to welcoming you back for another stay. Property Owner

As the evening cools, retreat to the sunroom/snug where you can enjoy your drinks in the warmth.

Completing the ground-floor is a convenient utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer and a handy cloakroom.

As your eyes grow heavy, climb the stairs to the first floor, where you will find three tastefully decorated rooms, a king-size with en-suite shower room, a double room and a single, both of which are served by a bathroom.
