  • "We had a wonderful relaxing week in the Granary."

We absolutely loved the cottage and Angus and Jo were very kind and accommodating. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed and we loved the beautiful decor. Our dogs adored the wood at the bottom of the garden for morning and evening walks. We would love to return!

  • "We were delighted with our stay ."

The beds were the comfiest we’d ever stayed in , the cottage was fully stocked with tea, coffee , biscuits, milk , flowers and even fresh free range eggs ! Kitchen had everything needed possible . The bathrooms had all the toiletries needed ! Our dogs were welcome everywhere in the home , and blankets provided for their comfort . There was even a vacuum cleaner ! Which is a delight with pets . The owners had thought of everything, even maps and guide books of the area. There are absolutely no negatives with this stay , it went over and above anything we had hoped , and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone , who’s looking for the most comfortable of stays , with the furry friends highly welcome, with no limitations-a absolute delight . A huge amount of thought and care has been put into this property by the owners , and it was a very pleasant surprise to have all the added extras . Highly recommend.

The cottage was beautifully equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable and the wooded area provided a quiet, reflective space to wander around or sit and chill. Jo and Angus couldn't have been nicer. Thank you both for making our stay so perfect.

  • "We had a really good break at The Granary."

My elderly mother has mobility problems which I raised at the time of booking. The booking person at Sykes was very helpful and accurate in describing the property access and layout and Angus from The Granary put my mind at rest when I contacted him before we arrived. Superb, quiet, and picturesque location which we would certainly consider returning to. Angus, the owner, was very helpful with a couple of self inflicted issues without being overly intrusive. Many thanks to all involved and a great send off from Myrtle, the rescue hen!

Glad that you and your mother enjoyed such a lovely break in Granary, and thank you so much for taking the time to give feedback. I can report that ex battery hen Myrtle continues to go from strength to strength! Property Owner

The Granary is close to lovely beaches and walks and had everything we needed and was lovely and cosy. This is one we will definitely love to stay at again. The devon tea, coffee biscuits etc were welcome! Thanks for our lovely stay Angus and Jo. It's a great place to stay.
