A 30 minute drive and just 12.6 miles from Skanda vale Llanpumsaint, It offers the perfect setting for a relaxing family break, close to the small market town of Lampeter offering shops, farmers co-operative and plenty of pubs and restaurants.
For those seeking a rural retreat to explore the beauty of Wales, Y Felin is an ideal setting to sit back and relax as well as explore.
Head into the charming first floor open plan living space via the access ramp, where you'll find a welcoming woodburning stove, plenty of plush seating and well-equipped kitchen to cook up your favourite meals and serve them at the dining table that sleeps nine.
On this level you'll also find a twin bedroom with one twin room as well as wet room with walk in-shower.
This reverse-level property also has two ground-floor double en-suite bedrooms perfect for refreshing after a long day of adventures.
Finally, tThere is an en-suite family room providing plenty of space for all of your party.
There is also an inviting living space on the ground floor for when you need to curl up with a book or relax in front of the TV.
Outside there is a large garden to enjoy with garden furniture for relaxation in the evenings, and you will also find a duck pond in the shared outside barbeque area.
Llanybydder is situated along the banks of the River Teifi and is a quaint Welsh market town that epitomises the charm of an old-fashioned community.
You'll find all the amenities you need including a Post Office, bakeries, a farmers' cooperative, as well as several pubs and dining venues scattered throughout its streets.
Serving as a focal point for local farmers, the town hosts regular horse sales.
The surrounding countryside offers an ideal setting for enthusiasts of walking, cycling, and birdwatching.
Positioned on the border between Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion, Llanybydder provides convenient access to the county town of Carmarthen, renowned for its bustling shopping centre featuring both unique boutique shops and well-known high street stores.

Y Felin is a lovely spacious accommodation.
It is also well equipped, especially in the kitchen. Eirlys the landlady was very accessible and helpful if any needs arose. The collection of holiday lets together allowed for privacy and were well managed. The surroundings are very peaceful. Just one thing to bear in mind is the access road. It is very 'off road' so your car needs to be ok with a bit of a rocky ride on approach.
The cottage itself was well-kept, clean, and pleasant inside.
However, the surroundings and additional facilities were in poor condition. The playroom had mold on the walls, sockets were rusted, and the trampoline was damaged. The treehouse and pond were hazardous. Additionally, there were uncovered outdoor sockets. The area around was neglected, with overgrown grass, giving the impression of poor upkeep. Importantly, the area with swings was fenced off with a "keep out" sign, meaning children had no access. This was disappointing, especially as we had an autistic child in the family. Despite a lovely interior, the surroundings left much to be desired.
Holiday rental was lovely but kitchen hood could do with a good clean, very greasy.
Kitchen a little small to cater for 10 people. Games room was an empty shed with a childs pool table and one cue, nothing else there. Floor boards very creaky upstairs and sounded very loud downstairs in the bedrooms. Overall the stay was OK but could do with some updating
