"The cottage is lovely and quirky with a lovely feel and very well equipped."
The welcome bits were also very much appreciated. We particularly liked the upside down element to take advantage of the views. It was also very warm. Unfortunately we found the beds to be quite uncomfortable so ended our stay 2 nights early as we couldn't manage with the lack of sleep. The cottage was generally very clean but the grill pan was full of grease and the white bedding was stained in places. Would have been nice if they'd strimmed the garden to make it easier to pick up after the dogs. Not particularly secure either so be aware if you have escape artists! Not really as remote as we thought, we have reactive dogs so were hoping to be quite isolated but people do walk by the cottage (not many as in November).

"What a find!"
The most peaceful, tranquil cottage I have ever stayed in. The view was amazing and just watching the birds and the wind in the trees was very restorative, the batteries were recharged and we were very sorry to be leaving. The facilities were really good, I loved the wet room shower, so much nicer than being confined in a shower cubicle. The beds were really comfy and the upside down living was perfect for making the best of the views. We didn't have a problem finding the cottage and, whilst the track was a little rough and stony , we just took it really slowly and it was easy enough to negotiate and we do not have a 4x4, though the car has reasonable clearance. Would happily recommend a visit whether you wanted a chilled relaxing holiday or a chance to go exploring in the lovely surrounding countryside.

"Lovely cottage in a great location."
Track in, a bit bumpy but I have a Volvo s80 saloon car and taking care it wasnt a problem. Everything you need is provided in the cottage, we did bring our own bedding covers because of our little dog but there was plenty at cottage. The only problem was disposing of food waste and recycling. We couldn't see any directive or bins/containers to use . Apart from that I would recommend anyone coming to stay . Beautiful area with wonderful views and a well equipped cottage

"It was a lovely cottage with beautiful views."
The track access was described but I think it should be emphasised that it is not suitable for anything other than 4x4 or suv vehicles. We had two vehicles with us, an audi a1 and a jazz and it was a very worrying entry and exit. We ended up with a nasty puncture in the sidewall of the audi on the last day. This was from hitting the side of the track while trying to avoid bottoming out on the rough ground. We have to say that we had brilliant service from rt tyres who came out from cardigan.

"We really enjoyed our stay at Arfron."
The place was comfortable and well equipped with wonderful views. The shower performance was intermittent but it looks like work is underway to sort it. We would definitely recommend staying here. Many thanks!

"The road access needs to be detailed that it is unsuitable for low clearance cars."
Luckily we had a 4x4 so we were ok. The property was clean but there were a few details where cobwebs and some small issues of maintenance is required which we mentioned in the folder book. The grounds could have done with some attention e.g. mowing the grass area to gain access to garden furniture and the rotary washing line. We would contemplate using the cottage again if we were holidaying in the area again

"It's an amazing property that is a real hideaway."
Definitely fantastic if you are a hiker or someone who loves the tranquility of nature.

"I must thank you for your ability and willingness to accommodate us with very little notice given!"
I must commend you also for being able to turn the property around so quickly to the standard we received. We had the unfortunate experience of having our original booking cancelled on us by the host as a result of a double booking. Hence the mad scramble to find somewhere to avoid disappointment to our 3 children. The cottage was exactly as described and it was a lucky find! It was peaceful, tranquil and comfortable. The access road as noted was a little daunting but accurately described and when driven over very slowly it was achieved so thank you for your accurate and honest listing. It was a beautifully salvaged weekend away. Throughly enjoyed!
