  • "A great position."

Very handy for the canal and beach. Only two very minor criticisms, the sofa was quite low and there wasn't a vacuum that we could use when tidying up. Apart from that, first class.

Thankyou so much for your lovely feedback. Kindest Regards Jane x Property Owner

  • "Could do with a coffee table in the lounge."

Steps to front garden were ABIT tricky for my partner Steps to the detached garden need replacing and are dangerously uneven, which meant we couldn't enjoy that area.

  • "The property was ok just felt cheap and thrown together."

The bed frame is full of other people’s hair, there was public hair in the bath too. It was generally clean just no attention to detail. Curtains very light and noisy traffic

  • "A fantastic base to explore the local area and further afield."

Cottage is clean, warm and very cosy! Lots of local places to eat with great food, many of them dog friendly. Our fur baby was made most welcome at the local Indian restaurant! Would recommend a visit to Crazy Crepe, Ship Aground and Naz Indian Restaurant. Food was of good quality with good service. At the description states, the garden is across the lane, so would recommend a decent torch and a lead.

  • "This was our second stay at Daisy's Cottage within a few months."

It has been improved with the addition of a gate to the front garden, which gives a little enclosed outdoor space for the dog(s) (very determined dogs will still be able to get through the hedges, but for most it's enough to be supervising them). Burry Port beach was still welcoming to dogs during the summer months, and the chip shop within walking distance did an impressive range of vegan food (which the cafe over the road also does).

  • "The cottage itself is very comfortable, well appointed and very well equipped."

The main problem is the location. It is set directly on a very busy and very noisy main road. In order to get to the outside garden you have to cross a lane adjacent to that road which makes it really unhelpful for getting the dog into the garden unless it's on a leash. The surrounding areas are very nice with great beaches but only if you drive to them. There really isn't anywhere within a reasonable walking distance. It's over 3.5 miles return trip to the "local" beach before you do any walking on the beach. Every car park in the area also charges to park 24/7 but its not very expensive to do so.

  • "This was a last minute booking due to another property letting us down."

All I can say was Daisy Cottage was a breath of fresh air. From the moment you opened your doors. It was home from home very welcoming no gimmicks to try and sell it to us. The location perfect Pembrey Country park only a drive away Daisy Breakfast place make sure you visit. The Bury port Harbour down the road Coffee shop across the road this cottage definitely in my top 3 places I’ve stayed. I could of stayed a month or two The only small negative thing that I can give was the photos the back garden looks joined it’s not. However I can’t praise this property enough and definitely will be returning. Thank you Marcus Claire Winnie and Dexter Dachshund ❤️ X

  • "Lovely cottage."

Very well equipped. Sofa on the low side for our comfort and could benefit from a small coffee table. Due to the weather being very wet the access to the garden would be safer having a handrail. Small points as all in all a great place

  • "We had a lovely stay at Daisys Cottage."

The place is charming and homely, with interesting views from the bedrooms and nice outdoor space to catch the sun. It was very well-equipped, which made a self-catering stay very easy. The only thing that was a bit confusing was parking (there isn't a designated place but there is space on the road outside) but Jane was very easy to get hold of and helpful. Several dog-friendly beaches in close proximity, which suited us well. Would stay here again.
